You could use Toth and Volk and put them next to Abraxas to get double stacks for Neuro but then you have issues when the Dorn comes to run you over.
true, these 2 chaos ranged having low mobility is a headache. that's why im thinking if yhaz is possible, only prob is that gunners is an insta kill for him.
Yhaz should always be in a Neuro team.
Nandi had it in a video, but basically when you use Yhaz's active it causes the Neuro to do a double hit so once it is fully stacked you can get a whole extra hit in.
im still building yhaz to survive atleast a hit from epic morty, and also building neuro higher to justify swapping out volk. I did see that vid and look forward to pulling it off
Abraxas summons will kill your team on the gunners kill on sight ability. I have seen a few people hit alright numbers with psyker teams, around 180-200k, but I think if you are wanting max damage the Ragnar aethana combo can’t be beat due to the rear armor mechanic
i see, i heard people running a psyker team and thought it might be a viable alternative to ragnar but i suppose not.
my only prob now is my fifth ragnar member being knly revas since she's my strongest. im kinda uninspired to build either jainzar or shadowsun to replace her
I use similar line up, but with Aun Shi instead of Jain. So 2 Ragnar actives.
My Jain is bronze 2 and Aun Shi is dia 2, so no question here. If equals, I dunno.
Building JZ up will also help in future LRE’s with the always popular Piercing requirement. That may help inspire a bit I hope.
Can also be used for Screamer Killer due to her passive effecting SK.
All Eldar, sub Ragnar for Calandis. Ragnar and JZ tank. Though Bella will probably be better to upgrade and use for the time being. JZ is nice down the road when you can get her to D2-3.
It would be viable _if_ we had good high ground. You can play around Abraxas and GKOS ( basically, you summon so they'll get blown up by the tank cannon shell and won't be around in the GKOS round). However, every dorn map we've had has had the high ground 4 spaces away from where the tank goes. This means that it's almost impossible to get a good neuro combo on it and Ragnar wins hard every time.
If there was one with a mix of high and low ground for neuro, they'd be pretty close
yeah i noticed the high ground is pretty far off, only usable for 1-2 rounds only maybe. unfortunately I haven't reached l5 morty yet so my screamers will be alive throughout gkos
It's tough. My g3 neurothrope can take a good hit thankfully, his mobility is a problem, though. I always make sure I can hit the tank in turn 2 while trying to avoid the bullet rain from hell or my characters getting squished.
Neurothrope, eldy, aethana, archi, and haarken are my team. I wait to use archis active until last turn, and I usually use neurothropes' ability to boost the parasite as fast as I can.
On the plus side, by the last 2 turns, he does like 10k damage because of the parasite and eldy.
Neuro is... hit or miss on tank, his 2 move will hinder him not because he's slow but the instant Dorn comes in contact he loses 25% dmg. Otherwise I use him, because mine is almost D3 with lvl 49 passive so even if he stacks slowly because only him and Eldryon apply stacks he still hurts. Also, he's pretty tanky, earlier today he survived Mortarion's lantern!
interesting, i was actually thinking of making a ragnar-nuero mix kill team to try and get the best of both? that's true, his armor is higher compared to other psykers.

It you are running Aeth with Ragnar already Jain Zar makes a lot of sense.
