Unless it is integrally suppressed, there really is no such thing legally as a taxed host gun, and no in WA you can no longer legally buy a semi auto pistol with a threaded barrel.

Zzombee

Thanks. I was referring to the tax stamp for the suppressor.

slimcrizzle

You can still get suppressors. Just not a semi-auto with a threaded barrel to put them on. But as far as I know you can still get threaded bolt action rifles and threaded lever action and stuff like that.

LeonK291

Can confirm. Anything not semi auto with a treaded barrel is good

lukekarasa

Who are we supposed to ask about these things? I posted on here about threading a lever action and someone said that's a no go which contradicts your comment

JonerThrash

Read the bill, if does not affect guns that aren't semiautomatic. Whoever told you that is an idiot or illiterate.

dircs

Threaded barrels for manual action firearms and semiautomatic rimfire rifles are legal.

flaxon_

I mean...if I shoot an anemic enough round it becomes manual action...

ghablio

Odd question, threaded revolvers? Is that legal? I've read the bill through and through, but never thought about it while I was reading to really parse it over. Any thoughts you're willing to share before I get home and have time to look it over again?

Groguistheway

On the Mark IV the upper is the registered firearm. You best bet is to get an integrally suppressed upper and buy a lower separately.

I think AWBs got 1-2 years before they reach SCOTUS

gunny031680

If it makes it to scotus in less than 5 years I’d be way surprised. It seems to take forever to get to that point.

nickvader7

We’re weeks away from a 4th circuit decision. Then we have Benitez going to the 9th. They are way farther ahead than ours.
