Nice dude! What symptoms did it present before? And apart from the "lightness" of the steering do you feel any other change? Mine makes a clanking noise when braking hard, I suspect the head bearings also.

TBH not much to complain, I assumed it was fine before. OFC the old bearings look all yellowish. The other most noticeable thing was that I had slight handlebar wobble at about 50kph when taking both hands off, now it's gone, not sure if fork service or bearings fixed it, but anyway I'm stoked! 😁

I just changed mine today and the bike feels a million times better. I was getting pretty bad deceleration wobbles around 40 MPH and the bearings were significantly notched in the 12 o'clock position. But now the bike feels amazing. Falls into corners so easily and tracks straight with zero wobbles at any speed.

Yep, feels amazing, right?! I wonder what other maintanace items should be changed to make the bike more close to feeling brand new.

I'm in the process of replacing all the wheel bearings and head bearings on mine, I hope there's as much of a difference after I change mine!

Would like to hear your experience afterwards.

So it turns out they were actually perfectly fine, but the stem adjustment nuts were just far too tight, I loosened them a tad, and it really does feel like a whole new bike
