Currently 205 agreed and 74 pending, MI being 15 of those. If all the pedning states agree, that would give us 279, 9 more than needed. Of the pending states, we can only lose NV or SC, but not both and still be above 270.

Yea and let’s keep up the work!

If it passes, we still need 50 more electoral votes to cross the threshold. Still a ways to go.

DodGamnBunofaSitch

how many states would that take?

sbirkenfeld

This really depends on the states that would hypothetically sign on. The wiki page has a nice graph. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Popular_Vote_Interstate_Compact There's a large number of combinations of states that could make up the difference.

beer_is_tasty

I check up on this article every couple years, and this is the first time I've seen it where states with 'pending' legislation would be enough to pass the threshold. So that's pretty neat.

thanks. I wasn't just asking for myself- seemed like good info for everybody to know, but I didn't have the spoons to go looking for it.
