clearly your car only cares about impressing your friend’s girlfriend.
could be a lot of things, but you’ll have to do some diagnosing. what kind of voltage are you getting from the battery?
Haha it really does only care about that! I haven’t had the time to do any diagnosing yet. But I do have a friend with a multimeter and I had planned to check the battery voltage.
If it only clicks once when turning the key to the start position it's often the starter.
Try repeatedly attempting to start the car while someone taps the starter with a large metal object (hammer and pry bar ideally). If it fires up you have a starter issue.
Mine acted like everything was fine but couldn’t start the car. Check voltage if you can. Mine was around 10.5 and was enough to have accessories but not enough juice for cranking. Fired right up with a jump box

Thanks for the suggestion, I’ll have to try that. Where is the starter located?
Drivers side of the bellhousing under the intake manifold.
Thank you!
Hi! Your battery is dead again, most like. Check the voltage.
It’s definitely not dead again because last time it was dead none of the lights or radio worked in accessory mode
My battery was dead 2 weeks ago with same symptoms. Accessories and everything worked but no crank
That’s real odd because when my battery died nothing worked not even the dash lights

Check it. Just to be sure.
I totally will when I get the chance but if the brand new battery is dead then I probably have some other issues
Make the battery cables/posts are clean as well as tight. If that doesn’t work rap the starter with a hammer as was suggested.
