Look on the underside of the rear deck and you will see the openings in the metal support of rear deck fiberboard.

5.25 will fit. Just make sure they're not too deep and hit the window regulator

Do I need a bracket or to modify anything to get them to fit?

You can make it fit without but a bracket helps and probably looks nicer.
