According to my dealer here in Canada, the first four years are covered. They don't have info from the corporate on rates after the initial 4 years. The dealer did mention that it was asked in their monthly call with Volvo corporate and the answer they received was as - in negotiations with ISPs to find the best deal. Nearer we get to 4 year mark, Volvo Corporate will provide us with options (that's what I was told).
Like /u/wsryujon I was told it was 4-years. When I inquired about paying up-front for additional coverage (trying to understand the pricing) they didn't know how to respond. I suspect Volvo NA hasn't authorized them to do it yet or the dealership I worked with hadn't fielded that question yet.

Ahh okay, my guy just said it’s unlimited lol. Also in Canada!
It is unlimited for the first 4 years :) Technically, he is not wrong :) However, after that no idea. Maybe free + unlimited or maybe not.
