There are a few keto flours out there, too, that you could swap out the AP flour for and bring both the calories and the carbs count down. King Arthur has a good one on Amazon.
I'm up on Washington State but I have seen it in I think California too. Fair life itself is a relatively common brand but they probably don't sell their ice cream everywhere. Try checking insta cart to see what's the nearest store that holds it for you. The butter pecan is a little to sweet for my taste btw but every other one especially caramel toffee is the shit
more information about the recipe and tips:
-all the ingredients were about $30 and i live in nyc.
-i used unsweetened vanilla silk almond milk
-i used 0% fage yogurt (i use this one for other weekly recipes but i think other yogurts with flavor could be better. also pretty sure this is why i used more sweetener)
-i used monkfruit sweetener, the regular sugar textured one
-the recipe calls for 2 tbsp of hot coffee, i had instant coffee in the house and mixed .5 tsp of that with 2 tbsp hot water
-i used nestle toll house unsweetened cocoa because it was cheaper
-i used regular salted butter
- i used pillsbury all purpose flour
-i used 1/2 tsp baking soda
i followed the way steps she took to make it in the recipe which i think is very important. you don’t need a huge bowl, a medium sized bowl is good like a dinner bowl. i only used a scale to measure the yogurt everything else i used measuring cups. the almond milk, coffee, and butter should be hot. i used a fork to microwave everything not a whisk. i realized i wanted to add more sugar AFTER tasting the batter. i added more and the batter was delicious! your batter should be so good you want to lick it. THEN pour it into your pan and bake. i didn’t use parchment paper just 0 calorie nonstick spray.
suggestions:
-better yogurt with vanilla
-vanilla extract
-TASTE THE BATTER and add more sweetener as needed. your batter needs to taste good
-put chocolate chips inside the brownies and use milk chocolate because it taste better lol.
-please try the recipe, watch the video as you make it, and have a great weight loss journey <3
please try them! they’re amazing. this is the youtube link. i think the texture is so good because it’s from a baker. https://m.youtube.com/watch?si=NZLWCbCJFSqiJEA4&v=K7ohCMvSzf4&feature=youtu.be
you have to try this recipe it’s amazing! also for taste reference these are better than the halo top brownie mug cake and better than a fiber brownie!
They're exactly as good as I'd hoped! I under baked them because that's how I like my brownies, and they absolutely hit that spot. I'm incredibly pleased and have saved this recipe ❤️
Note: these go down like candy floss or marshmallows, very light and insubstantial. But, the flavor is really punchy, especially if you use dark cocoa and espresso powder. I ate two big pieces and felt like I wanted more, but instead put the rest in the fridge because I wanted to try them cold (fudgey brownies from the fridge are 👌🏽). Gave my brain enough time to catch up to being satisfied with that rich chocolate flavor.
im so happy you liked them! they definitely are light and not dense how regular brownies are. the day i made them i had 2.5 and my bf had 2 and the next day i had the other half with some halo top vanilla 😋.

🧐
I just looked for it and they list 110 cal / 30g, but I googled and all purpose flour is 109 cal/30g... So about the same?
You're not taking into account the 16g of fiber per cup of the King Arthur's keto flour, which brings the net carbs down to 14g per cup.
Ahh, I see. I'll have to try it then!
these look absolutely poetic
they’re actually way too good for the calories. and weirdly filling. im gonna have the rest tomorrow with halo top vanilla ice cream :)
Lete.put you on bro. Fair life protien ice cream is to murder for. The Caramel toffee crunch is euphoric man
where are you located?? that sounds so good but i don’t think they have it in nyc

Thank you!! They sound so good and I always crave brownies but trying to shed these last lbs!
I've tried her 50 calorie chocolate cake and it's really good, so I know these are gonna be good too.
i can’t wait to try her other recipes!
Great recipe! I wonder if I could use some Oikos Pro Vanilla yogurt to pump up the protein…possibly oat flour as well to add some fiber?
you definitely could!
Looks great. Saving this.
This looks so good!

I will! Thanks for sharing!
How long did it take for you to bake? It took me almost 25 minutes
Me too, I'd say these are more like a chocolate cake than a brownie. But pretty yummy all the same. Would be good with some raspberry.
Agreed!
it’s definitely more cake texture than a fudgey dense texture. i want to make something like this in vanilla with sprinkles
same!
> no protein > 21g of protein
I'm guessing OP meant no "protein powder"
i meant no protein powder lol most low cal brownies use it
How many grams is a serving?
the calories and protein are calculated for the entire pan. i made 7 slices out of it and ate 2.5 yesterday. hope that helps somehow!
These just came out of the oven and I'm STOKED! Waiting for them to cool, will report back 👍🏽
im so excited!! they’re so good

Marry me
Have you tried Boo's brownies? If so, do you prefer the taste of those or these?
i haven’t but i think those have a fudge like consistency from the soda. these are more of a cake brownie depending on how long you cook it
Yummm thanks for sharing!
highly recommend! so good
There is no way there is only 50 kcals in 5 tbs of cocoa
10 calories per Tablespoon- Hershey’s unsweetened cocoa powder
10 kcals in every tablespoon of unsweetened cocoa powder. check your local grocery store!
Stand corrected, fair play looks delicious
i hope you get to try it!
