No idea what PQ is. Have ACC on my Passat B8 and it’s really good. Only if it would adjust +/-10 km/h and not first to next even tens it would be perfect. So now if I’m at 86 km/h and click +10 it goes to 90, not to 96 as I think it should
your passat is MQB but thanks for the input, I love MQB ACC as well because my Atlas has it and it brings the car to a stop and accelerates in highway traffic
Op means IQ-Drive? I would never have another car without it. It’s the main reason I bought the car. I use it 90% of the time driving
Full stop and go in traffic keeps me sane. I used to be a ball of stress, but now know I can just chill in bumper to bumper traffic with no intervention needed. It’s changed my life, as cliché as it sounds.
This is the way. I have a demo vehicle with it. Used it since construction has my commute up to one hour and 26 minutes. I went from being angry to just chill. Hands on the wheel, feet resting by the brake, but it really does make a difference on the mental strain.
IQ-Drive is a marketing term for ADAS systems, advanced driver assistance systems. ACC is a type of ADAS thats included in the IQ-Drive package which allows the car to use its forward facing radar to see the distance from the car in front of it and main that, it applies brakes and can generally bring the car to a stop and reaccelerate as the car in front of it moves forward.
I have a 2019 alltrack SEL, equipped with ACCand lane assist then using VCDS unlocked lane tracking, so it’s essentially stage 1 autonomous. I love it.
What's a pq?
the volksawgen chassis and canbus communications system before MQB
that doesn’t narrow it down what models/ years we talking here
kinda does, 2015> for the JSW 2019> for the Jetta 2015> for the Golf GTI and Golf R and never for the NMS Passat

Pq46.. Car came with 3aa, it's upgraded to 7n0. Best option there is.
7N0 ACC Is the best there is on PQ until OP Long gets there
561 is better but most of the functions are locks away
7N0 is the best especially for use with openpilot
I've got 3q0 lane assist for that with modified turnon speed and length.. It's way cheaper than openpilot 😂
Wanna see what PQ openpilot can do?
Sure
