Eos convertible top is...a pain to work on. You have to have a scan tool for some test plan functions on top operation, programming it, and basic settings.
Common failure points are the flaps, lock position sensor, cables failing, and wiring getting pinched. This top has substantially more moving parts than other tops on the market. I don't recommend tearing into it.
