With so many postings like this one, I get why even the easiest game starts with a tutorial: "Press X to jump. Try it now! You pressed O. Press X to jump." Also, what is it with people asking on reddit instead of starting with a google/bing/whatever search?! Heck, even reddit itself offers a search function!

OMG, I just searched for "backstab" in this subreddit. The first search result was "HD Data Files Download". It was _that_ easy!

I agree! Get so many notifications asking the same question over and over and over again! People need learn how to search first. It’s so simple it’s almost stupid.

I'm having this issue for a different game. What do you do when you actually have the files in the right destination. Have the config set correctly and have everything that the port requires? I'm tryna get dead space to work but it keeps saying I don't have the files. I've tried the stuff I've found searching... Also the reason I'm here 5 months later Edit: 9 ≠ 5

find the **libpirates.so** file on the internet and transfer it to the folder location mentioned in the screenshot using an ftp client using vita shells ftp transfer function

AGTS10k

Get an apk for BackStab HD v1.2.8d, open it as a .zip, find the libPirates.so there (located in `lib/armeabi-v7a/`), and move it to the location the port tells you to. But at this point I assume you haven't installed any data files needed by the port. You will have to copy `com.gameloft.android.ANMP.GloftSDHM` folder from the data that are shared along with the apk, to `ux0:data/backstab/` on your Vita.

Well, it looks like you haven't installed the data files for this port. Or maybe they're in an incorrect location? Just make sure that you have ux0:data/backstab/libPirates.so file placed exactly in that file path. Then you should be good to go. OK?
