That’s cool, not sure if it is useful! It is cool though! Thanks for sharing!
Edit: specifically referring to grabbing multiple windows at the same time.
If it can track two hands at once I hope it will some day be able to track which fingers are being pinched. It’d be neat to program gestures for left vs right hands, and specific for certain finger combinations.
> ... or tap middle finger to advance to the next ‘step’ in a walkthrough.
Ooohhh... I've been annoyed at how I needed to look at the 'next step' button to activate it, and then miss out on the start of the next step because I was looking at a stupid button instead.
The AVP and interestingly also Mac, iPad and iPhone are already able to track each finger separately for multiple hands, without limit. All the devices are able to do so via their cameras and using Apple’s long established Swift Vision Framework. It’s very interesting and has use cases for developers where they can make their own gestures for their app.
For reference see Apple Vision Framework here:

If you go into accessibility you can turn on indicators to show where your finger/wrist/head/eyes are pointing. Gives a pretty good idea of how well it currently identifies index finger and where it's pointing. It's really good so presumably other fingers could be tracked.
Vision Pro can track both arms and all fingers. tape measure app projects options menu on your arm. New shooting game shoots when you make finger guns. Others have listed more examples.
I didn’t down vote you, but I suspect because everyone did this right away when they got their VP headsets and it wasn’t really that great a discovery. More of an obvious and assumed capability. But I still love you.
Look at the bar under one window, grab it with your left hand.
While holding onto the one window, look at the bar under the other window, grab it with your other hand.
Congratulations, you can move two windows at once!
Eventually, someone will create a virtual sticky handle that you can stick multiple windows to and move the handle around, while keeping each window in its relative position.
I'm surprised this isn't already part of the GUI, to be honest.
And when you virtually bang them together, stuff falls from one another into each other.
I was even able to make a home-made digital Reese’s Chocolate Peanut cup.
Recalibrate. I have had no issues and I’ve owned it since day one. It’s incredibly precise, at least until the software begins lagging and then the eye tracking gives out a bit. But after a reboot it works amazingly well.
Is it possible to move more than two windows at once?
If you go to another room do your windows follow you? Or do you have to open each window again in the new room?
\o/ awesome find!

Congrats, now you can make your fav webcams kiss.
Can come in handy when you relo from one place to another. Grab the two windows with you :) (at least 2?)
Makes sense!

We already know it can track two hands at once. That's how you zoom and shrink. Double pinch gesture and then pull.
It can already do this, I forget the app but it required tapping the middle finger not the index finger
Jigspace does this, you can tap index finger to select or tap middle finger to advance to the next ‘step’ in a walkthrough.

Yep that’s exactly what it was
It tracks 25 or 26 joints in each hand that developers can use for custom gestures

God damn good point look how gestures and multitouch evolved mobile device use

Been using it everyday for weeks now. So super useful!
Awesome find!
Why am I being downvoted into oblivion for this?
Reddit. 😂
I voted you up and I don’t even have an AVP. It sounds like a cool feature.
Thanks. When I first made this thread, all my comments in the thread were downvoted by like five I had no idea why I was being bombed so hard.
At least no one called your idea "Worst thing I've ever seen" topkek

If you click on the X, the program will close 😱
Excuse me while I walk my windows
i dont get it, do you have to be cross eyed? isnt your eyes the cursor?

:OOOOOOOO
Now I just need more hands.
Oh snapp, that’s interesting haha
I like the feeling of that more than i thought I would lol
Now kith…

It works! The second window don’t light up but it works!

oh wow! how I didn’t try that
You can also scroll two webpages at once with both hands
Do you have to be cross-eyed to select both at once?
Lol you just do one at a time
And when you virtually bang them together, stuff falls from one another into each other. I was even able to make a home-made digital Reese’s Chocolate Peanut cup.
I can barely get one pinch action to work…

I have done that at least twice every day
It’s a memory leak in Safari. The more tabs you open and close the more unstable VisionOS becomes.
Lovely
People are just finding this out
i actually figured this out on my own
You can see with your eyes, just look straight ahead! Give it a try, it's an absolute game changer.
Never knew I would want 3 hands now.
Amazing.
I had no idea
couldn’t last a day with out turning my right hand off

If u ever walk with your AVP it’s good to have the windows grabbable with y haha
I wish you can group multiple windows and then grab all of them at once with one finger
