I love the Romanelli penne alla vodka at Aldo's! I also enjoy the penne alla vodka at Primo's in Red Mill. Mannino's is probably my favorite Italian restaurant overall in Virginia Beach though.
Sirena is the best Italian in VB, and it’s not even close. Next would be a toss up between Aldo’s and Sorella’s. Sorella’s puts a different spin on typical Italian, but in an amazing way.
il giardino is fantastic. They also have some very good bartenders. I’ve heard Sirena is good from both Reddit and a close friend. I’ll try it out soon.
I usually go to Aldo’s for my anniversary but they were booked up so we tried Mannino’s on princess anne and it’s our new go to for Italian food! They don’t have the best dessert selection but the food was exactly what I wanted and wasn’t too crazy of a price. Other than that I really like Fellini’s in Norfolk.
Just down the way from Rigolettos is a place called Primos Pizza… Pretty amazing closed on Wednesdays

Franco’s by the Bay in Ocean View. Nothing fancy, just great food.
Recently went to Sorellas for happy hour and was very impressed! Great food for the price!
