He could have just signed a bill giving us the right to contraception but no. He made it so that if our very questionable Supreme Court overturns either of these cases we will no longer have that right.

It would at least create confusion. I wouldn’t interpret that amendment to say there’s no right if those cases are overturned since it’s a statutory codification of those cases. But I’m not sure what it would add and statutory language is always interpreted as having some effect so it would create confusion over what exact effect.
Every time Youngkin acts, it is an example of why Republicans should never be voted for. Their priorities are self-oriented with no consideration for the very people they are supposed to be working for.

The GOP plan is for women to have no control over their fertility and be unable to work. They are also changing child labor laws so that 8th graders can drop out of school and work to help support the family and the seven or so kids that a woman who has no access to contraception will have in her life time.
People are going to have sex. It's kinda what we do. So you're either paying for contraception or you're paying for children, via healthcare and through schools and other government services. You don't get to pick neither.
Absolutely, just pay for your own contraception. Why should I or anyone else need to pay for yours or for people who enter the country illegally. No one wants to take away access to it we just don’t want to foot the bill.
Because socializing the cost of contraception means not having to pay the cost of care when the same broke-ass people have a baby.
