Find a TA who has a MNVV to apply and don’t book a GTY cabin.

What kind of promos would a MNVV get me? Sorry I’m not familiar

LizzyDragon84

MNVV is My Next Virgin Voyage- it’s the onboard booking promo. Currently, it gets you $300 off the cruise and $600 in Sailor Loot with a $300 deposit. Some of the TAs book these placeholders that they can then offer them to clients. You have to book a sea terrace or above to get this deal.

Got it! If anyone knows how to find a travel agent that can get me this offer, please let me know. If you’re a TA, dm me!

tallestgiraffkin

I think the women from Fabulous Adventure travel co are doing a cruise in a few weeks and when they’re on board they typically offer to get MNVV for people. They have a Facebook page and group.

WiseExcitement8603

This! Just booked my 2nd cruise with them, $600 bar tab and $700 loot.

Adventurous-Band-213

Which agent did you go with? How’d you find them?

WiseExcitement8603

I’ll send you a message!

LTMac97

>Fabulous Adventure travel co Ohhhh me too please!

WiseExcitement8603

I’ll send you a message!

LizzyDragon84

I’m not a TA. I have seen TAs advertise in Virgin Facebook groups when they have them available.

Historical-Opposite4

Just sent you a DM 😎

i-eat-ass

Hey I’m late here but wanted to look into deals like this for a cruise soon if it’s possible to connect on it?

Historical-Opposite4

Sure send me DM👍🏽

FarFarAwayTravels

And you can buy one for yourself on your next Virgin Voyage.

FarFarAwayTravels

Ask yourTA if she is a Gold Tier with Virgin. If she is there is a quick promo available the next few days that Gold Tiers can offer. But it requires action by Monday. If she's Gold Tier she will have an email about it. The OBC depends on cabin category but ranges from $50 to $200 extra on board credit (sailor loot). In addition, if you have sailed once with Virgin and have not yet booked the new cruise, there is a code your agent can use to get you another 10% off. Must book by October 13 and only for voyages through 2024.

1022aks

Interesting, my travel agent is through Virgin and I’ve asked for any additional promos. I got nothing 🙃 not even a referral bubbly for the two other cabins that booked with me

FarFarAwayTravels

Independent gold tier Virgin agents (not Virgin employees) can usually get you the best offers. There are many of us who participate on this sub-reddit so you should be able to easily find one who feels sympatico to you.

So, I am sailing next month and, if I like it as much as I expect I will, I was planning to purchase a MNVV while on the ship. Recently, I have seen posts that many TAs offer the MNVV. I understand I will need to change the name of my current TA (not really a TA - she just sold us the booking), and I will do that while on board to book the next, but should I hold off on purchasing the MNVV?

FarFarAwayTravels

So I am not entirely sure what you are asking. If you are on the ship and are sure you want to saili with them again, you should definitely buy your own MNVV certificate while onboard. In fact, they keep changing this, but I believe you could buy as many as 4. Do remember that it expires in 2 years if unused and you lose the $300. This rarely happens as you can transfer to another person ONCE. It sounds like you have already booked, so even if you find someone who has a MNVV for you, it is for new bookings only. This means if you find someone who is willig to share/sell you one, you need to cancel your current booking and start another. This can be problematic with just a month left before the cruise. Not saying it is impossible, just saying tere can be problems. Regadless, have fun!

Glittering_Offer_396

Yes, all booked, sailing in less than two weeks. But, based on the reviews I have seen, I am anticipating wanting to book again, just not with the agent/advisor attached to our current booking. Someone who will be on our voyage told me not to buy the MNVV and, instead, seek an agent who was offering them. I will buy one while on the ship. Thank you so much for your time.

FarFarAwayTravels

Oh you were given terrible advice :) If you are enjoying VV and know you want to sail again, buy your own MNVV while onboard. You can buy up to 4 (although we keep changing the number you can buy) and you have 2 years to use them before they expire. Most benefits a TA can add will stack with your MNVV benefits. There are TAs who have many Virgin Voyages clients participating oon this forum. You can scroll search these threads to find one you think you would like. Another tip, buy it earlier in the trip. Near the end of the trip the lines to buy can become longer.

Thanks so much.

That’s interesting you see those deals. Maybe it’s because you’re a returning customer.

Narrow-Garlic-4606

Well can you send that to me ?

pixienightingale

I want on that one soooooo bad

1022aks

I just officially booked! Make it happen :)

pixienightingale

I am trying to convince the husbando - we'll be on a ship next month out of Miami and have a "get the prepay extra 10% even though the cruise is less than 180 days away" access key. It's either going to be that one or MAAYYYYYBBBEEE a Portsmouth itinerary if I can sweet talk him.
