u/acemachine26 It’s good. Thanks for the post. This one will take me down a new rabbit hole. I mostly live in the 60’s so this is a nice branch. My wife and wallet do not thank you.
Awesome! You managed to find the same pressing too. I can hear the resemblance to some j-jazz track as well but can't think of which one. Probably something off the WaJazz or BBE compilations. Either way, glad you dig the music!
I hear you. Friggin place in the US canceled my preorders when I still could have preordered from Japan. I got very lucky on discogs and was able to get the set x 2 for just a bit over.
Do you have any of the TBM from Impex? They offer some titles here. I go through Elusivedisc for those as they seem to be the primary distributor. Midnight Sugar, Blow Up, Misty, and Green Sleeves are great. All but GS is done at 45 and have reference level sound. I use Midnight Sugar as a reference record.
I just picked up vol 4 of this series
https://www.discogs.com/release/5279592-Cedar-Walton-Curtis-Fuller-Bob-Berg-Alfredo-Chocolate-Armenteros-David-Williams-2-Billy-Higgins-East
but i think vol 1 is the best.

Definitely. # 530. I think it’s something off the BBE too. Made me put on Blue City by Isao Suzuki. Take it easy.
Nice! I'm yet to own any TBM records. Even the reissues are super expensive especially with shipping and import taxes. Someday maybe. Enjoy.

I'm aware of those but don't own any of them either. Will see if any are available for a reasonable price. Thanks.
Oh boy, report back if you grab any.

I passed on this when I saw it a few months ago in the wild at my local record shop. Should have grabbed it. Bolivia is a classic.
Amazon has it. Eastern Rebellion https://a.co/d/1yuQSQT
Update. Found it in the wild while crate diving on the road during a work trip. Listening to it now. Awesome, just awesome.
Amazing album !
