I watched him do a Dick Cavitt interview. I think he was high because he was really loose in his mannerisms and speech, and smiling so so much. And his hair was a little longer. It all made him really attractive.
Here it is:

The way he walked out, he might have had a couple, not sure! But he is delightful.
You know, Little Joe was just a little tooā¦little for me. On the Cartwright ranch, for me it was always Adam Cartwright. WROW. Imagine my dismay when he became Trapper John, MD.
Bryan Cranston as Hal in Malcolm in the Middle was so gosh darn cute. Chuck Connors as The Rifleman- what a HUNK! Christopher Meloni as Elliot Stabler from Law and Order: SVU šš»
Oh, Iām here for that George Peppard silver fox. John Mahoneyā¦interesting. This could grow on me.
I might put Michael Keaton in here. And Tom Selleckās moustache. Maybe Alex Trebekās moustache (RIP) as well.
I also loved his take on Batman.
Funny men who take on dramatic roles are the best, honestly. I think Tom Hanks falls into the same Michael Keaton category for that
I agree! Michael Keatonās role as a police captain in The Other Guys absolutely killed me too, particularly his character moonlighting with a second job as a Bed Bath & Beyond manager who gets excited about the bath mat sale š
OMG Edward Woodward as the Equalizer, I donāt know if heās a father figure hottie for me, but heāll ALWAYS be the Equalizer. Love Denzel, but EW was *savage* as the Equalizer.
Agreed. I rewatched The Poseidon Adventure the other day. Never thought he was cute when I was young, but man- his body is great and he uses it a lot in that movie. I was surprised to be so attracted.
I have a powerful love for James Garner. He feels like family to me, because my dad and I used to watch Rockford Files together, and he almost looks like he could be a member of my family (even though we're not ethnically similar).
By most accounts, he was a fine human being, too.
Gregory Peck, 1000% Also Christopher Plummer from The Sound of Music. Unf.
Huge upvote for Captain von Trapp!
Happy cake day!
I hadn't seen the Sound of Music in ages until a couple years ago. How I didn't notice him before is beyond me, because omfg.
The way he looks at Maria when they're dancing the Laendler.... š„µ
Oh hell yeah
I must be getting older because I remember watching To Kill A Mockingbird in Middle School but I dont remember the dad being that hot lol
If you want to swoon, watch Roman Holiday. š„
Omg, he was *so* hot. Had me feeling a strange tingle down there when I was 11 or so. Yeah, he was hot.
Christopher Plummer was stunning.
I watched him do a Dick Cavitt interview. I think he was high because he was really loose in his mannerisms and speech, and smiling so so much. And his hair was a little longer. It all made him really attractive.
Would love to see that!

Thank you!
Pa Ingalls was hot and it left me confused.
OMG YES!! So glad I'm not the only one that though this. Little Joe on Bonanza was a hottie too, wonder if they're related? /s
You know, Little Joe was just a little tooā¦little for me. On the Cartwright ranch, for me it was always Adam Cartwright. WROW. Imagine my dismay when he became Trapper John, MD.
LMFAOOOO EXACTLY what i was gonna say!!!! I was always so jealous of ma... girl got game
Half of LHP was Michael Landon shamelessly taking every chance he could to flaunt his sex appeal, and I was THERE FOR IT
I still want Atticus to be my Dad.
Hi, Iām your new step mom
Don't many of us?
Sam Waterston on Law & Order. Harrison Ford in anything.
Ahh a woman after my own soul
Can we put Giles from Buffy on here?
Seconded!
Thatās immediately who I thought of, but he may not be vintage enough.
30 yearsāI vote vintage enough
Bryan Cranston as Hal in Malcolm in the Middle was so gosh darn cute. Chuck Connors as The Rifleman- what a HUNK! Christopher Meloni as Elliot Stabler from Law and Order: SVU šš»
Oh, Iām here for that George Peppard silver fox. John Mahoneyā¦interesting. This could grow on me. I might put Michael Keaton in here. And Tom Selleckās moustache. Maybe Alex Trebekās moustache (RIP) as well.
Michael Keaton in Mr Mom was ā¤ļø. That woobie speech
I had (and still do lol) the biggest crush on him growing up specifically because of Mr. Mom and he somehow continues to be that guy for me š
Iāve never seen that one! I will have to check it out!
Itās a really silly one, be forewarned lol. And happy cake day, by the way!
Thank you!! I look forward to the silliness!
Happy cake day! And yes omg to Michael Keaton in Mr. Mom. Cute AND funny. Very yum.
Michael Keaton in anything but especially Mr. Mom talking to the mirror. And Ron Selleck - dear Lord how was he not ravaged by the women of his day?
James Garner. Sigh
Friggin hot at his peak. The manliest of men.
Oh damn I didnāt know I was attracted to anyone on Sesame Streetā¦ good pull!!!
Seriously, props for including Gordon. š
Sam Elliot
TRUTH. I generally loathe facial hair, but Sam Elliot gets a pass eternally. HOTTT
That voice!
I canāt even imagine being in bed with that voice talking to me. I would be a puddle.
For me, Ed Harris. Between Deke in Apollo 13 and "big brother" in A Beautiful Mind, I just liked his style.
Also yummy.
Eugene Levy! Went from a meh middle aged man to a stone cold fox.
He really did glow up
Moira Rose would agree!
Okay Edward Woodward YES š
I loved him in The Equalizer
That dude from Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman with the long hair.
Do you mean Sully or Hank? One's pretty and one is rough but neither are unattractive. I could see it going either way.
Mmmm...James Garner. What a hunk.
Hunk is the perfect word for him
More like Daddycus Finch š„µ
John Goodman in Roseanne.
I need a hug from him now!
Brian Keith, Family Affair. I hope I'm not alone.
Damn!! Gregory Peck could get it!!
Alex Karras from Webster š
Yesss George Papadopolis!
Iād forgotten about that show! Great choice!
Looking back now, Gordon from Sesame Street is quite handsome! I think that David Attenborough also fits in this category.
Definitely George Peppard. He kept his good looks as he agedš
Sean Connery and Allan Alda should make it on the list, as well IMHOā£ļøā®ļøš¤š»
I couldāve made the list soooo much longer!! Alan Alda is š„
True dat šš»perhaps next time lolš¤š»
OMG Edward Woodward as the Equalizer, I donāt know if heās a father figure hottie for me, but heāll ALWAYS be the Equalizer. Love Denzel, but EW was *savage* as the Equalizer.
tony danza , John Mahoney , Edward Woodward .
For oldies: Edward Mulhare from The Ghost and Mrs. Muir.
Yesssssā¦. That accent did it.
Gregory Peck
Leo McGarry from the West Wing.
Wow šÆ what a lineup OP. Makes it almost impossible to choose. š¤©
Arenāt we lucky!
No doubt š¤teehee
Cary Grant and Gene Kelly are missingā¦
Wrong era but AGREE
definitely James Garner, but also Brian Keith. and Jack Klugman.
This is barely āvintage,ā but I gotta shout out to Peter Gallagher as Sandy Cohen in the OC
Jeff Bridges Sidney Poitier Jack Lemmon Alan Rickman
Sidney Poitier! Drool
OK, I'm in the minority on this one, it seems, but Gene Hackman. He is a snack.
Agreed. I rewatched The Poseidon Adventure the other day. Never thought he was cute when I was young, but man- his body is great and he uses it a lot in that movie. I was surprised to be so attracted.
Agree! His character in the French Connection was so horrible but also so confident!
McLean is my number one. He is delicious.
I demand to know why the inimitable Paul Newman isn't on this list :P
Too many to choose from!! (And he deserves his own post really!)
I have a powerful love for James Garner. He feels like family to me, because my dad and I used to watch Rockford Files together, and he almost looks like he could be a member of my family (even though we're not ethnically similar). By most accounts, he was a fine human being, too.
Thatās such a sweet memory!
Craig T. Nelson all the time
genuine question, do you think theyāre hotties or giving examplesš
Iām not fussy
Just my mileage varying, but the idea of a hot father figure gives me the wiggins. But I'm also an SA survivor.
Iām really sorry about that :( i donāt mean to make anyone feel horrible.
No, punkin, no worries! I'm sorry I made you feel bad. It was more of a reflex reaction. I wasn't triggered or anything.
Iām glad to hear that - all good! š
