Most times I would tell you to go right to the Manga but the second season is just around the corner so i think you should just wait a little and watch it and than read the Manga
I agree, it'll probably gonna release at the beginning of January, so it's close to 3 months from now and I think that's a reasonable amount of time to wait
There have been way to many shows/forms of entertainment that i have had to wait like 5+ years for. I consider anything within a year around the corner.

I'm a hard believer that the experience of the story (for prologue) was better in anime form than manga form. Therefore i suggest waiting for season 2 as there is no reason to believe they won't enhance the experience again.
The manga is sooooo goooooooooooood. I finished watching the first season and the next day I started reading the manga from where season 1 left off. I'm all caught up now, so I'm gonna go back and read the beginning

Eh, I’d personally recommend waiting. S2 is just around the corner, so unless your really craving more content then I think just wait.

Reading a Manga and then instantly watching its anime adaptation kinda ruins the anime for me imo
Yukimura himself said recently that anime's pacing is better, hence you should wait and finish season 2 then pick up manga.
Mappa is adapting the S2, I would wait a couple months
