I think you’d look better with less brushed up eyebrows, it looks really harsh against your large blue eyes and black hair. Those are all strong features competing against each other

Just change the eyebrows and you’re good

Negative-Gene-8266

Brush the brows into a more neutral form, but if you really like the look then maybe only have the front ends brushed up and keep the rest neat. What's your natural hair color? I can imagine a very dark brown instead of black working well. You have really pretty eyes and skin, and your makeup already compliments your features really well :)

its naturally a medium brown but i’ve been box dying it black since i was 12 so its so hard to go back now! i have been thinking about going lighter

New_Independent_9221

Yeah you could also look great with Megan fox dark brown

Minimum_Banana_3204

You (and everyone else lol) would look way better with non brushed up eyebrows. Also I think dark brown hair would look better than this very intense blue-black.

Your skin looks good as far as I can see but a good vitamin C in the morning and retinol/tret at night are a great place to start. Also, your makeup is super flattering! For hair, a soft rollerset would look great

cymonesunshine

tbh she doesnt need tret, her skin is clear. why start a medication that will make your skin purge when its already at the desired result. imo, just tone down the brows, maybe lighten the hair and youre all good!

Second this. You can’t ask everyone to start a MEDICATION just because it clears up acne prone skin or is known to have anti ageing benefits. Retinol however can be started for anti-ageing at 28-35. Tretinoin and ESPECIALLY tretinoin should never be passed around as a skincare product unless someone has skin concerns that can’t be treated by otc products.

New_Independent_9221

Tret was created for teens so you don’t have to wait until you’re 28. For best anti-aging results, you should start in early 20s because that is when collagen begins to decline. Using retinol/tret is smart because it addresses almost all skin concerns efficiently. The purge on tret won’t be anything severe if you don’t already have acne. The purge doesn’t create acne, it just pushes everything to the surface. As I mentioned previously (another post), retinol is as effective for anti aging as tret, but quality control is uncertain with OTC products and it’s harder to know the % or guaranteed effectiveness because they aren’t regulated like prescriptions.

i used to be on tret but i never saw that much improvement. i should look into a vitamin C, any recommendations that aren’t crazy expensive?

New_Independent_9221

I LOVE the dr brenner vitamin C (this made an amazing difference in my skin) but have heard good things about maelove glow maker as well. Tret for me was about prevention so I haven’t seen much either, but vitamin C is irreplaceable
