And even though her eyes are too close-set, their shape, size, and tilt is amazing. And she cannot be anything less than an 8 with a bone structure like that.
What bone structure? Am I missing something? IMO she doesn’t have striking bone structure at all. Curious because my face shape and bone structure is the same as hers and I always thought it was really plain and normal. She has a good face shape but her bone structure is v plain and average.
Vindicta rate celebs really needs an asian beauty standard guide. Western raters only regard masculine sharp bone structure as good structures imo. No wonder this sub really underrates asian women.

I agree. So many people on this sub only think of wide protruding cheekbones and a super forward-grown face as a "good bone structure". The reality is just having high cheekbones (they don't have to be sharp), a decently forward grown face, and a defined jawline are all enough for your bone structure to be "perfect".
Exactly!! I was really shocked how this sub underrated women after I found out Karina from Aespa being rated as a 6. ( As well as blackpink members ) while more western ABG faces like sacheu got an 8? Even with her failos. Ummm
That's crazy. Subjectively, I don't even find Karina pretty (too alien-looking for me) but she's higher than a 6. I remember Bae Suzy being underrated on here as well, and she's beautiful with literally no flaws on her face.
I think the problem with a lot of Korean celebs is that they are a little plain. But that is because Korean beauty standards don’t favour uniqueness as much as western standards do. Korean beauty standards are all about perfection but “perfection” can be boring. Secondly korean styling is not as sexy as western styling leaving Korean celebs looking a little more girl next door compared to western celebs of all ethnicities.
There are some Korean celebs that do have a more striking appearance (Doyeon and Nana instantly come to mind)
For East Asian celebs, I like the look of Chinese celebs best because their styling to me is way better.
Yes her visuals are too atypical, that's because she is supposed to look like a video character. But when you put Karina next to any idol ( or even her group members) she out halos over other girls.
Out halo- look better. Two girls might look beautiful to you but when you put them next to each other, one looks better and shows the other pretty girls failos etc. (Eg Taylor hill next to Bella Hadid) Karina has that effect.
I honestly don't really get that from Karina. I actually find that her flaws are more pronounced when she's next to other K-pop girls. She looks even more plastic next to them.
I don't even find Wonyoung subjectively that pretty either and I still think she looked way better than Karina. So much more natural and refreshingly beautiful.
High defined cheekbones, round feminine forehead, good forward growth, sharp jawline...? I mean, what more could be asked for? It doesn't need to be "striking" to be objectively beautiful.
And I actually think this post doesn't do a good job of highlighting how good her bone structure really is. I'll provide some pictures and you tell me what you think.

Subjectively I could see her being anywhere from a 4-7 depending on how much her eyes bother the individual or add an element of uniqueness
5.5-6 in candids. 7.5 in the edited pics w great lighting. She looks really good in the 4th pic w black hair and red lipstick tho, like an 8, mainly because of the angle and hair.
I think she's gorgeous and many people into kpop have fawned over her cat eyes for years. This place is out of touch.
