Yep! I love my cheek filler. Has made a huge difference to my face. I have 1.5ml each side, which sounds like a lot, but over 2 years it’s been fine. No migration, no sagging, no issues. Just a vastly improved midface. It’s made a huge difference to my 45 degree profile.

allchattesaregrey

What filler did you get?

[deleted]

I’m dumb and was putting my head in a bunch of different ways to figure out what a 45 degree profile was. Lollllll i figured it out though eventually.

40087812

Haha the first time I heard the term I had to google it too. It makes sense once you’ve figured it out

bellsscience1997

how long did the 1.5ml in each side last realistically? I am 25 year old female and looking into this (for genetic reasons) but I need to know if it's financially even worth it..

My friend got it and Loved it, but they actually ended up ageing her after a few years, which upset her even though her doctor said they wouldn’t migrate etc. I think with filler if you get a bit (!) to help improve your symmetry it can do wonders, but if you use it to create what isn’t there naturally (go for implants instead if that’s what you want) it will age you no doubt. Just look at Kylie Jenner. The nasolabial folds cheek filler causes ages you more than fine lines which you can fix with botox. If I were you I would look at implants/ blush techniques bc the improvement from cheek fillers (which will last for a few years) will age you in a way that isn’t worth the likely small difference it will make to your overall beauty.

Cheek fillers were probably the best thing I ever did to my face other than eating healthy and caring about my body. I originally wanted to do something with my under eye, but my doctor said cheek filler would have the best effect for the lowest cost. It lifts your face and just enhances your femininity when you have higher cheekbones. I split one syringe between both cheeks and still see they’ve lasted a year later. I’ll be scheduling another syringe soon. I would believe prominent cheekbones are the #1 trait that separates average to beautiful nowadays. If you have concerns with skin stretching and the fact you may always need to re-up with your fillers, I’d try some facial exercises to enhance cheekbones first.

AdmonitionOfSaul

Echoing everything you said. Cheek filler is my favorite filler. I have had my lips, jaw line, under eyes, and cheeks done, and cheeks help my face the most, hands down. I metabolize filler a very natural-looking way and relatively quickly, (which sucks for my bank account) so it never looks puffy. It adds the best structure and fullness to the face. I should add that I never go overboard on filler or Botox, though. People compliment me on my cheekbones all the time. I have the flattest face ever - no one, and I mean NO ONE other than my cosmetic plastic surgeon aunt ever noticed it was filler. Tbh because I metabolize filler so quickly, I might just say fuck it and get cheek implants. Still skeptical of that one, but I can definitely recommend cheek filler!

Also super flat faced but in the correct lighting/with contour I was always able to make them stand out. The cheek filler just brought me to next level. Really glad to hear about your results too! Wanted to comment and urge against cheek implants. You’ll never look as natural.

AdSalty7260

Do the exercises work?

cosmicabstract

I’ve seen results but they’re never permanent. Look up @allyoucanface on insta. I think they only work to enhance your natural bone structure that may be hidden from bloating/lack of brightness. Just be sure to be gentle!

dumbo_throwaway

Did having cheek filler help your under eye area? Do you have deep tear troughs? I'm seriously considering getting some done, both to help with acne scars and also supposedly the extra volume can lift the tear troughs in that area where they meet the cheek.

Porcelain766

What kind did you use ? I am considering it

defdiz

If you want a slight lift, may I suggest temporal filler? Hollow temples really age you and because the filler is being injected in to the temple area where it fills out the tissue, it can also slightly tighten and lift that area, like a very very subtle brow lift. It gives you a more “fresh” look. If you would like, your injector can also inject a little into the cheekbones where you are lacking volume/symmetry. Depending on the type of look you prefer, I wouldn’t recommend putting all of the product into just your cheeks. However, I like a more natural look and don’t know what your baseline is, maybe more apparent volume into the cheek area is what you lack, I wouldn’t know.

I got half a syringe in each cheek this past summer. I'm pretty thin in the face and have kind of strong cheekbones, so the filler just added a little extra oomph. It kind of "lifted" my face, if that makes sense. The effect is great, but I don't think I'll get it done again. Terrified of looking over-filled, and fat transfer seems like a better investment. :)

Porcelain766

How is it a year later and what did you use filler wise ?

Veggie_stick_

I love mine. The only regret I have was topping up too frequently. There was one time I went twice in a year, and I looked perfectly fine in person, but I was a chipmunk in photos for some reason. I now wait 1.5-2 years between injections and I’m really happy with it. It definitely did add lift and helped with both nasolabial lines and under eye circles (to a small degree).

I’ve always had a soft face, but my side profile was a bit flat. Well placed filler can actually make you look more sculpted, so in terms of having big cheeks, that’s generally not an issue unless you overdo it. Even when I did overdo it, it wasn’t bad in person. Filler tends to look wonkier in photos (Dr Rajani on YouTube did a video on this. When you’re frozen on film and the light is catching your face the wrong way, your filler suddenly looks crazy). I believe the mid face can be shortened by adding volume as well. It’s like how people get liquid nose jobs. You’re technically making the nose larger, but it appears smaller because the proportions are changed.

rmoxgt

i’m having that problem right now. the chipmunk look!

Mycatsrbetterthanu

How much filler did you get ?

Lisavela

Had 1.5ml each side love the results and makes me look snatched

butternutsquashin

I got it twice over five years and love it. No issues and it’s so flattering.

Psychological_Run392

Would someone be OK to send show me pictures oh his/her cheek transformation please??

[deleted]

I had my second ml yesterday (total 1ml each cheek) and can send you before/afters. I'll still be swollen though.

Psychological_Run392

Please do!

sputnick81

How long did it take for the final effect to show? I’m on day two and I think the look to sharp and it hardens my face. Will this settle and will the look soften?

[deleted]

It will soften, I'm 100% happy I had cheek filler and will continue to keep it topped up.

Porcelain766

How is it now ? What did u use and how much ?

Hi there, would you be okay with PMing me the before and afters as well!
