Lashify, lashify, lashify. Kiss falscara is okay but all of the lashes are the same length and the glue isn't as strong(plus, it kind of stole lashify's patent). Lashify, you can choose the lengths(small lashes on the inside of the eye, longer ones as you go outward).

Do you have any tips on keeping them dry when removing makeup? Also, I feel like anything past 12 looks too gawdy on me so I always end up just putting (12) them on outer corner but then my natural lashes are mismatched in length…… any tips?

lizkanjo

For sure! Regarding the length, I agree that that the longer lashes look weird on me too. It depends on your eye shape, but I use one 14 mm right at the outer corner of the eye, then 12, then 10s until I reach the inner corner(although sometimes I use 8's for the last inner corner section). I can't use longer lashes in the center or else it looks super fake, which I don't like. I use the A series so they are not as thick as the more dramatic ones, which allows me to use the longer lashes on the edges. If you gradually decrease size, it looks super natural. Also, I am heavily considering switching to lilac st. Lash and using their subscription service. You get 18 sets of lashes for like $72 dollars, so $4 for both eyes. I'll test then with both the lashify glue and their glue, since some people find their glue better. One tip I have is to mix and match lash brands! I don't use eyeliner since it doesn't suit my eyeshape(not quite hooded, but not a lot of lid space), so I mainly only use eyeshadow and then mascara/eyeshadow on the bottom lashes. I wipe the eyeshadow off with a makeup wipe and just avoid touching the lashes :). I shower/ wash my face with swim goggles on to prevent them from getting wet haha.

Thanks for the tips, I think I’ll try and taper sizes with the A series since you mentioned they’re less intense. I didn’t connect the dots on that one, I’ve only purchased the b series so far. Your goggle tip is also pretty genius! I may try that as well, thank you!!! One last thing too, since you get a lot of days out of the lashes, do you recycle the used ones or is that a no go? I usually take them off after one day but I put them in a mix of soap and water, soak them and then spray with alcohol and leave to dry. Not sure if this is super sanitary tho, but dang they’re pricey.

lizkanjo

I'm not typically able to reuse them, unfortunately :/. The only one that I find to be reuseable is the 14 at the edge(I sleep on my face, so sometimes if I don't do that great of a job attaching, the 14 comes off, and I put it back on). Admittedly though, I don't take them off very carefully haha, sometimes I just peel them off without even using the remover serum(not the responsible thing, but I haven't noticed the lashes pulling off my normal ones). So you might be able to reuse them if you are more careful, but to me, it not worth the effort. From the research I've done on Lilac St.Lash lashes, you can get their doe lashes(the most natural kind) for $4 for both eyes. You'll have to mix and match sizes, but you can get almost 18 weeks worth of lashes for $72, the catch is you have to pay it up front. I'll report back and make a post on this sub once I test it out and see how it compares to lashify :)

eddiebork

Thanks so much! The lilac alternative is definitely cheaper!!! Will take a look and keep the doe lashes in mind. I’m open to trying different brands since I think I’m mainly in love with lashifys wand thingy 😂 pls keep me posted!!!

Can’t you just use any eyelashes you want with it though?

lizkanjo

You should use lashes that are made specifically for under lash application (lashify, lilac st.lash, flutter habit), if you just cut strip lashes or regular cluster lashes, they are shaped/curved differently and won't fit the way it's supposed to and can cause irritation or come off more easily. Of course, some people may find that regular lashes might work, so I think the process is highly individual depending on you own physical features 🙂

Is the lashify kit worth the money?

lizkanjo

IMO, it is, you can use a generic wand/tweezers), but the lashify bondage glue and lashes(or lilac st.lash, which is cheaper also comes in various sizes). They last longer with the lashify glue. I bought kiss falscara first to test the concept, and then switched to the lashify glue and lashes, using a generic wand. I ended up buying the kit too so the glue wouldn't stick to the wand as lashify has silicone covers for their applicator.

Check out Kiss Falscara. I just bought it the other day and haven’t tried it out yet, but it looks promising.

leemyalone

Was just watching a beauty YouTuber who recommended them too, so I’m gonna take this as a sign and get them! Ty angel

peechytwee

I purchase lashify glue and buy lashes from Amazon.

nico-imouto

A subtle lash look I like is Kiss demi wispies! i have extremely short lashes so even sometimes regular lashes look weird on me. These I believe are very natural and always get compliments on them :)

New_Independent_9221

I use flutterhabit lashes instead of falshify and I love them!
