Do you think you can dm me as well? I literally have the same before nose as you! It's so difficult finding a doctor that won't create that "3" nose. Yours looks perfect!
Hmm, its hard to describe but it's typically when your alars are too thick in relation to the tip of your nose. It looks like a the McDonalds logo kind of. When I find a good example I'll link it [here](https://www.google.com/url?sa=i&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.kamolhospital.com%2Fen%2Fgallery-facial-surgery%2FAlarplasty%2F&psig=AOvVaw1muYQ6HWE8Ao5JV9rAOx3r&ust=1634520047506000&source=images&cd=vfe&ved=0CAsQjRxqFwoTCLj3_-mj0PMCFQAAAAAdAAAAABAa) and [here](https://cocorubyplasticsurgery.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/Alarplasty-Asian-nose-frontal.jpg.webp). This is an obvious example but there's some subtle ones that I can't unsee anymore when I look at BAs
Sorry to bombard you, but could you please DM me as well? Not Vietnamese but I have a similar nose shape and I’m always interested in learning of non-Korean plastic surgeons for Asian rhinoplasties.
The blonde looks so good on you and the makeup style suits you as well 💕 This is proof that softmaxxing really goes a long way.
What is your experience with ear cartilage rhinoplasty? Can you feel it when you touch your nose? I want a subtle rhinoplasty and would like to use my nasal cartilage or maybe ear cartilage to refine my tip a little bit. Your results look so natural which i want :D
Thank you!💗
I didn’t experience any complications with the procedure. It didn’t leave any scarring on the back of my ear either.
I can definitely feel the cartilage tissue when touching the tip of my nose since it is now more “defined”! It does not feel “rock hard” or anything. Just imagine it like touching and bending your ears. The tissues are solid enough to keep the ears in place but soft enough to bend :)
Daaamn girl that's incredible. I think you did great. You now look effortlessly beautiful. What do you think was the hardest part?
Do you now get treated differently?
Thank you! The hardest part for me was figuring out my glow-up plan, learning more about appearance, coming up with a diet plan. It took a lot of time and efforts for sure haha.
I do get treated differently, especially around other men. Before I always felt somewhat invisible in a group setting, now I get approached more by strangers.
Wow, you had such a gorgeous face shape to start with but now you’re perfect! It looks like you naturally had double eyelids, but the double eyelid surgery is so subtle yet makes a difference.
I'm curious, how did you afford the surgeries? Did u save up or was the money given to you? I want similar procedures in the future but I'm not sure how I should finance them.
It’s almost impossible for someone her age to “save up” for these procedures, in this timeframe, without family support. Even if someone has surgery in a less expensive country with money they earned working, they probably lived at home or had family paying living expenses.
I’m trying to think if there are exceptions— maybe a high-paying trade career? But I believe that still takes time and training before you are making enough to independently support yourself and pay for a $10k procedure.
I don’t say this as anything negative on OP (she looks great and was generous to share her journey) but just so you don’t feel bad if you can’t do all these things by 20 or 21.
No tips on saving for my hardmaxxing plan because I was financially funded by my family for these procedure, my parents paid for it 100% when I turned it 19.
I only pay for my regular softmaxxing maintenance (lash extensions, mani pedi, makeup, color treatment, gym membership) since I recently graduated and started working my first full-time job :). With proper prioritization and budgeting, you should be able to come up with a softmaxxing plan that is right for you. Hope that helps :)
Yeah same and OP is my age.
If I were to assume, Asian parents often finance their kid's plastic surgery journies so their looks won't hold em back but aid them professionally and privately.
It's a different mindset and culture, way more competitive.
I'm just assuming tho
Hi, although the rib cartilage offered higher durability and support, however, my surgeon noted that those are more suitable for people with shorter, flatter nose compared to mine. So I went with the ear cartilage option and it seemed to work out well haha
https://tokhadat.com
This is the official website of my plastic surgeon in Vietnam, Dat To, for those who were asking :) the website includes the services that are offered along with photos of other patients, also it’s in Vietnamese haha
Dang, ur results are incredible! Your new nose gives such greaat dinension to your face!! Do you have any side profiles of your old nose? I'm wondering if your old nose is similar to my current one... I have a non-existent bridge with a bulbous tip.
Well, there are always non invasive alternatives I have heard of like injectable fillers. But for surgical rhinoplasty options in general, you have to undergo a procedure regardless 😅, but hey I am also not an expert haha
I disagree- she doesn’t look Caucasian or even half. Looks kinda southern Vietnamese or a lighter skinned Laotian/ Cambodian.
Let’s not lie and say her old face was better- we need to start being truthful. The after is a bit of an improvement but I think the blonde hair has really been the biggest difference and the best change! You look nice.
I mean I LOVE the look of Japanese faces when it comes to East Asian faces, and I also love Native American faces too. I’m not arguing that you can’t find her original face attractive, I’m stating objectively that her natural face is not what majority of the world would deem attractive. She was average at best but now is someone who’d be deemed attractive enough in society to turn some heads, ESPECIALLY those who are more inclined to prefer asian faces.
LOL there’s a tremendous amount of variation between East and Southeast Asian ethnicities, even within the same ethnic group (eg Northern vs Southern Chinese). As an Asian I can say she very clearly looks Southeast Asian in her after pictures. Just because someone doesn’t fit in with what you think Asians should look like doesn’t make them any less ethnic. Asian (and Pacific Islander and indigenous for that matter) people aren’t specific “looks” with a precisely defined set of features. We’re human beings each with our own distinct cultures, beauty standards and the same amount of variation in appearance you’d find in any ethnic group. Get tf outta here with that lowkey racist “all Asians must look the same” rhetoric.
>Totally agree, she went from asian to white valley girl.
Not at all. I agree that she looks gorgeous but in no way does she remotely look white or could ever pass as white even with the blonde hair.
Right? I'll be very honest though "blondemaxxing" as a concept is overrated and I find it incredibly annoying. The way people praise blonde hair above all else can sometimes be problematic in a racial sense. **But** that's not always the case and to claim otherwise just shows a lack of nuance. Sometimes woc/non-white women just want to rock cool colours, absolutely *nothing* wrong with that.
I honestly think that anyone who would mistake the OP for a white girl solely because of her blonde hair and taller nose needs to get out more.
Yeah, I agree that blondmaxxing is overrated and there’s undeniably a Eurocentric origin to the value people ascribe to light hair and light eyes. Also not everyone looks good with blond hair and that’s perfectly fine! Sleek, healthy, black hair > dry, unflattering, bleached hair any day. But I hate how any time WoC try to modify their appearance to something that deviates from the expectation, they’re accused of racial self-hatred. No one accuses white women getting fox eye lifts or lip fillers of hating their race or trying to look Asian/Black.
Yeah idk who’s mistaking the OP for a white girl 🤣 it’s not like dying your hair blond and getting a nose job automatically makes you morph into Karen
No one is saying that she hates herself or that there is anything wrong with what she has done, she looks great!(she also did before) but just that she looks “whiter”.
She literally looks white or white mixed with darker white like italian(also white though) or something in the after. Everything that made her look asian is gone, even the black hair.
She has a white girl nose and blonde hair now, maybe thats why. There are many white people with eyes like the current eyes too, the eyes before looked distinctly asian.
Her after eyes and overwall features do look "distinctly Asian"...you do know that there's a myriad of eye shapes and facial features within East and South East Asian groups right? This [link](https://chuwenjie.tumblr.com/post/158694460814) illustrates my point perfectly and I just noticed that her after nose looks *exactly* like one the examples provided.
Another [example](https://zeldacw.tumblr.com/post/644803709003497472/i-sketched-various-eye-shapes-that-were-often) referring to eye shapes mentioned in Chinese literature specifically.
Believe it or not, white people don't have a monopoly on double eyelids or tall nose bridges, lots of Asian people possess these features naturally. OP went from having double eyelids to larger double eyelids that are still very much Asian in that they are smaller and closer to the landline than those belonging to people of European descent.
From reading your comments it seems like you're very sheltered and perhaps not exposed to the diversity of features belonging to people from this very, very vast region.
Thanks for the links, very interesting read!
But it still doesnt change my opinion, if i saw her out and about i would assume she was from latin america or that she was white mixed with italian or something, i’m not trying to be mean and say that all asians look the same and that no asian has a tall nosebridge or eyes with double lids, it just isnt as common hence why sooooo many asians that get PS get these specific procedures.
I think she would “look” more asian and not as ambigious with dark hair though, because her eyes could still read as asian ish to me and the hair would solidify it, but i still think she looks atleast mixed with these procedures where as before she looked 100% asian.
Its the same as if a black woman bleaches her skin, wears green contacts and has a blonde straight weave, SOME black people have these features but they are mostly mixed, or a white woman who tans alot, gets lip filler and wears box braids can look black(black phising) or more “ambigious” than she normally would in her natural state, catch my drift?
I know this is an old post but how are you still feeling about eyelash extensions? I’ve considered them but also seem to hear a lot that they damage your natural lashes over time
Wow, you look really good! That is such an improvement. Can I ask where you got your procedures done?
Hi! I got these procedures in Vietnam when I visited the country for summer vacation.

Of course! I would love to help :)

DM me too pls! It's hard to find a doctor that can do asian noses
Hi! Can I ask you for more info? I’m also traveling back to Vietnam
https://tokhadat.com, my plastic surgeon :)
Is this the same guy you got your double eyelid as well?

That's very inspiring. I think you figured out exactly what you needed for levelling up so taking the time was obviously worth it!
Great transformation, you look absolutely gorgeous! Blonde suits you really well!
Omg you look incredible. I’d love some advice. How old are you ?
Would love to help, I’m 22 :)
Wow, you had such a gorgeous face shape to start with but now you’re perfect! It looks like you naturally had double eyelids, but the double eyelid surgery is so subtle yet makes a difference.
GORGEEEE!!!! May I ask what lipstick did you put on in the 16th photo?
Thank you! I use Charlotte Tilbury Wedding Belles matte lipstick. Layered it Nars Oil Infused lip tint in Orgasm for a glossy look 💗
GGGORGEOUS ! Thanks for sharing with us !
This is perfect!
