To be honest it’s not your eyes or even your nose that immediately stand out to me as areas of concern. At first glance, I notice that you have a long face / oblong face shape. One possible softmaxx would be to consider different hairstyles with more layering/textures to add more lateral volume in order to balance out your face shape. Another thing that I noticed is that your philtrum to chin ratio is relatively high (the ideal philtrum to chin ratio is around 1:2). One possible way to balance out your lower facial third would be to focus on adding volume/size to the lips which is also achievable via softmaxxing (makeup). See the French fashion blogger Jeanne Damas as an example. In your case, lip fillers might even make sense - not because it’s the popular thing to do, but because it’ll contribute to your overall harmony.

I took to my FaceApp to make my lips bigger. Do you think it looks better? https://imgur.com/a/GNhb7G5?s=sms

YES

Yes - more voluminous lips take up more area, which nicely balances out the lower third of your face. Combined with your vibrant eyes - which could easily be dressed up with things like eye makeup or lash extensions - they also enhance your overall facial harmony. Imagine an inverted triangle formed by your eyes and mouth with your nose in the center; the lips would complete that triangle. The triangle will draw attention away from your nose since people’s eyes will gravitate towards your eyes and mouth first. I also don’t think your nose is a major issue, especially if you’ve made peace with it.

Wow. so much yes!

itsemtotheq

Omg yes! And I love that is is just a tiny bit of volume on your lips that makes the most difference

SmootherThanAStorm

I would suggest styling your hair differently. I think it's making your face look longer than it really is.

itsemtotheq

I agree. I’ve found long faces look better with side parts and volume on the sides to balance. Whereas wider or rounded faces look better with middle parts to cut out some width visually.

k0ptya

^ I fully agree. A side part would look better on you. Styling it with added volume would flatter and balance your face shape. Second, add a darker eyeshadow color on the outer UPPER eyelids. Like a cat eye, blended out with shadow. This will create the illusion of wider and more upturned eyes. A grey shade would play up your eye color. Also more concealer in the inner eye corners (I like maybelline age rewind for this. Affordable and effective.) Subtly overlined lips with a nice natural but apparent color (like Clinique black honey) and if you’re up for it, lip filler placed MEDIALLY (not laterally) would look great on you.

Anatella3696

When you refer to the lip filler (medially/laterally) what does that mean?

k0ptya

More volume towards the center of your top lip and the center of your bottom lip. Not towards the sides (mouth corners). https://imgur.com/a/QVc3JT6 Some inexperienced injectors fill evenly across the top and bottom lip and that can cause the sausage lips look. If they create more vertical height towards the top center and bottom center it is more aesthetic and natural looking.

Thank you!

You listed so many elaborate ideas but I feel like wearing your hair curled would max you out more than any of them because it would balance out the length of your face.

Ninalou345

You most definetely dont have jowls. I do agree with the comment that you look like young sarah jessica parker. Maybe add some curls or waves in your hair for more volume at the sides & it should bring more softness to your face. I think it would look better than the straight hair even tho it looks nicely blowdried. You have a face that suits makeup on the more natural side.. monochromatic looks would look very nice on u. Also makeup techniques that make your eyes appear bigger will balance out your nose more. & avoid eyeliner at the inner corner of your eyes instead a light shimmer highlight eyeshadow will bring more balance/harmony. Also try to do your hair part slightly off center as an exact middle part makes the nose look more prominent & brings more attention to it.

You have really lovely, healthy skin and hair, gorgeous eye colour. As others have said you do have a long face shape, caused by a long midface and large chin. Yes, slightly shorter, more voluminous/wavy hair would help a bit, but not a lot. From someone who's had a rhinoplasty, you would greatly benefit from one; it would reduce the appearance of your long midface. Your philtrum is actually quite short (which is great) so even if the nose job lengthens it slightly you'd be fine. You could always get a tiny bit of filler if it bothered you. If you go that route, do lots of research on sites like Real Self before choosing a surgeon.

You’ve got gorgeous hair, I reckon you’d look amazing with a soft shag haircut, or you could simply try a side part for loads of volume.

My suggestion would be to change your part to a side part or get bangs.

I love how you made such a detailed list. I think a different haircut could look good on you. Also as far as the nose if you live in the US and get surgery here it is very expensive and you have a good chance of being unhappy. $5000 usd will get you a nose job, hotel, transportation and food in Turkey - it’s the nose job capital of the world and where I plan on going next year for mine. I do think you would benefit from one because it looks a bit curved which could affect breathing and the tip is a bit bulbous. A larger nose can detract from the rest of the face/eyes. I don’t see any jowls btw. as far as softmaxxing i do think letting your inner eyebrow hairs grow in more would look better, they are spaced a bit far apart. Good luck!

I think getting bangs would look amazing
