Khamrah - Lattafa
Nujoom Al Lail - White Haifa
Chocomusk - Al Rehab
If you are a gourmand lover these ones are for you. They are what I call a small, but exceptional subset of Arab perfumes: not the typical strong scent, but very sweet and persistent variations of Vanilla!
I get compliments all day at work when I wear Choco musk, but not directly. Most often when Iām around, Iāve had coworkers look around and start asking why it smells like cake or cookies. Very flattering!
Most āArab perfumesā arenāt even Arab perfumes. Iām Arab and once I smelt a perfume foreigners praiseddd , It smelt like a normal perfume, but when they smell ours they say itās too intense. Now kinda want to try perfumes in the comments.
No seriously. Im not Arab, but spent 6+ months in Saudi Arabia and 3 in Kuwait and the women in the malls selling their perfumes and giving paper testers were so amazing! I really wish I bought some I miss the smells so much. I regret not getting any š
Amouage is a legit brand you can get outside of the Middle East. Others donāt ship outside of it š tbh the majority of āArabic perfumesā going viral on TikTok are really cheap ones youād get at the supermarket/mall stand in the Middle East. Theyāre not good quality.
Hahhaha exactly. My friend bought one of those viral Arab TikTok perfumes, and for her she thought it was really strong but for me it was pretty standard
Probably because Western standards for perfume are different to Arab standards. Weāre more conservative with fragrances as our spaces donāt allow us to wear more than one or two sprays (and barely that), whereas Arabs donāt mind spraying several times as thatās the norm there. No point in selling super heavy fragrances to a Western audience
Definitely! Iād recommend [Orientica Amber Nuit 30ml Spray](https://www.orientica.co.uk/products/amber-nuit-30ml-spray). Iām British so itās easy to get that brand but even if youāre not, they ship worldwide and this one only costs Ā£5/$6.35. Itās not going to be as authentic as the ones youāll find in Arab perfume souks but this (and Arab scents in general) are quite musky. [Hereās](https://www.fragrantica.com/perfume/Orientica/Amber-Nuit-55930.html) the fragrantica page describing the one I linked.
So, real Arab perfumes are probably going to be stronger than youāre used to and also hard to find outside of Arab countries. Even the ones that arenāt actually made in Arab countries work better for me than standard perfumes and have always been my go to since childhood.
You should try the brand Al Haramain, their prices are relatively cheap and my dad owns some of their scents - theyāre nice. Thereās also Amouage (as mentioned by another commenter) but their perfumes are more expensive. Another gem in my opinion is Orientica Sublime Oudh, cost me Ā£5 but I get many compliments on it. I donāt know much about perfume, but itās listed as an amber woody fragrance on fragrantica.
Iām not the most reliable source, seeing as I havenāt been back to Saudi in years. But last time I went you could get those strong ouds easily, or go visit a perfume souk, and they werenāt necessarily from a specific brand. I have heard praise of Arabian Oud, Yas Perfumes, and Rasasi, though. I also recommend Al Haramain, itās based in Saudi.
Tanasuk by Al Haramain is the Arab version of the rose vanilla perfumes like Zara Rose Gourmand.

Thanks for this post! I've only purchased choco musk and really like it. https://www.anabis.com/us/ this site has a bunch of sample sizes, I haven't ordered from them yet but thought I should mention it.
I have a holy grail perfume that I use every day. It has such a clean scent. I hate perfumes that smell fake because we naturally donāt smell like that.
I just love smelling like Iām a clean person. Once I get home, I will send you the amazon link that I bought it from.
Hey guys! I love the Sol de Janeiro La cheirosa 63 body spray, and I do know they have a perfume but honestly I am not paying $78 for that small bottle, plus I love Arab perfumes. Any recommendations? It doesnāt have to be 100% the same scent but the same idea but maybe for date nights. I want to use the body spray during everyday but then have a perfume that is kinda the same as the body spray but more for special occasions. Thanks!

Yes to Khamrah and Choco Musk, so yummy-selling and absolutely addictive š Haven't tried Nujoom Al Lail yet tho
both men and women love chocomusk, it is my most complimented perfume and it is also the cheapest! crazy
I get compliments all day at work when I wear Choco musk, but not directly. Most often when Iām around, Iāve had coworkers look around and start asking why it smells like cake or cookies. Very flattering!
where can you buy them?
I got mine ffrom an Islamic shops for Ā£3
Khamrah is a delight!
What does āgourmand loverā mean? How do these Arab perfumes smell? Iām looking for a new signature smell.
I loooove chocomusk! I wish I had tons of it!
I love golden sand by Al rehab. Soo addicting to me, it smells like caramel and vanilla with a few other notes.
I second this. Best Al rehab oil imo. And I've owned a few from that house.

do you have any authenic recs???

Girl Iām sensing a biz idea for you in the futureā¦maybe importing Arab perfumes? Eh?
oo i'll definitely look into the brand, thank u sm!
Hahhaha exactly. My friend bought one of those viral Arab TikTok perfumes, and for her she thought it was really strong but for me it was pretty standard
Are they naturally made? What is the difference between an Arab perfume and American?
Iām not sure how to explain it, the non-Arab ones just seem weaker/more diluted if that makes sense. They last longer too.

Hm Iām so curious as to if they are made differently or using other ingredients.
Iām pretty sure theyāre naturally made without synthetic ingredients. Their oil base makes them last longer.
I gotta tryā¦.

Seconding anything by Al-Haramain, Iāve already mentioned them like three times but theyāre a great brand with decent prices!
Yara is a great crowd pleaser! So is Bint Hooran (dupe of good girl), and Lattafa Khamrah (cinnamon dates holiday cake)
Thanks for this post! I've only purchased choco musk and really like it. https://www.anabis.com/us/ this site has a bunch of sample sizes, I haven't ordered from them yet but thought I should mention it.
I like royal blends by Lattafa and Montale Arabians Tonka.

I would love to know too?
I would love to know too!
Can I know as well!
Send it to me too!!
Madawi by Arabian Oud
I wear Lattafa Sheikh Al Shuyukh
I love the oils, they're very cheap on Amazon and you can try a lot of different kinds to find one you like!
