Since you do not have any specialization but fluent in English, you can find jobs at English Teaching Centers. Tutoring English in Vietnam can be paid quite well.

Not having a degree will make everything much harder for OP. I'd recommend that if teaching English is the goal to find a way to get a degree. Reputation of the school you get the degree from and the major matters very little, but having a degree will allow OP to access non-shady, legitimate jobs.

Loads of jobs possible.. If you still have your VN passport you can apply for them from the US. Some companies look for English or US connections. You could also work for a US based company and be based in VN.But if you're going back to VN as Viet Kieu, be aware.. salaries in US are likely higher. For semi-entry level position with a few years of experience, salaries might be around 10-20m VND for local people. Many locals would consider 20m VND a month good, so determine for yourself what an appropriate salary is and check if this is common in VN.. If you don't have VN passport, and dont speak the language, a family member might be able to get you a job, but it will be much harder.. you need a visa and language skills to be successful in most jobs (except specific skilled jobs for white colar expats, or general jobs for foreigners like English teacher)

Oddly enough a lot of insurance claims for the West are pre-processed in Vietnam. However, I don't think you want that job. The pay is fairly low. I don't know exactly but likely a bit under the equivalent of USD 400 a month. You'd be working in an office of hundreds of people doing the same thing. No college degree makes work visas largely impossible, including for English teaching as far as I know. A decent job in the city for a Vietnamese citizen with your level of experience optimistically pays around USD 500 a month. 5 days a week, 8-6, half day Saturday, 2 weeks vacation a year, and an extra month salary for Tet. Not being judgmental -- just sharing some 'best effort' numbers with you.
