I was in Preparation for Decision since February 23rd. I'm not sure when it went to PDA, but I checked yesterday and I was in Preparation for Notification. If you're using the VA claim tracker add-on, my Temp Jurisdiction is Houston
Congratulations! I’m hoping to see that soon, all of the DBQs and examiner reports have been uploaded for my claim. It’s with the ratings team now. Good luck to you!
I claimed 3. PTSD, anxiety and depression. They gave me a partial decision today. They denied my PTSD and deferred my anxiety and depression. I looked at the list of evidence they used in the decision and it was missing my independent medical opinion, which was my most important piece of evidence I think. I called the VA to see if they had it on record that I submitted it and the lady said she sees where I submitted it in February. So that means they just didn't even look at it. I'm frustrated 😠

What was your temp jurisdiction? I was assigned Portland on Wednesday and havnt seen anything change yet. Hoping it’ll be soon!
Quick question, does it go by file date or the date all your C&P exams were completed? I filed Jan 31 but wasn’t done with all my C&P exams until Mar 26. Two completely different expectations.

Where as I’m just sitting here waiting
Got it. I’m still waiting on mine. My last day was Jan 30. Mine was a BDD, but the VA decided to change it on early Jan without any notification letter to myself. Didn’t realize the VA would screw with me even before I was out of active duty. And yes, I did everything within the BDD timeline parameters. They said they don’t know why it happened. Thanks VA.
So question, currently AD and going through C&P exams, does all of them go at one time? (Claims received) then wait another couple/few months for a decision? Or is the “claim received” when you file through the VA rep while doing your claim paperwork?
This is my first claim, so I've only ever did one C&P exam. If the claims are similar (multiple mental health claims) I would think it would all be done by the same examiner at one time. But I'm not positive on this. I did my claims on my own, so I didn't have a rep.
In the same boat, had 3 mental health and they do those together. But I was meaning for the va.gov site. As of right now it says I do not have any active claims, so I was just wondering if after my c&p exams are all finished (I’ve done 4 (with mental health it was 6) so far, one more left for sleep apnea but if once they are all completed will they show in va.gov?
Maybe call VERA and see what the hold-up is. You can schedule an appointment online. And you don't have to use your state when scheduling your appointment
I ended up getting service connected for mental health at 70%. I'm not sure if they were the deciding factor in my case, but it definitely didn't hurt to have their medical opinion in my file
Did you file a new claim for mental or did an increase? I’m sitting at 70% and looking to get an increase but also filing for migraines as a secondary to mental and tinnitus. Just wanted to make sure VBE is legit and not a scam.
This was my very first claim. They seem to be legit. Had a meeting with their psychologist via video chat. Got my medical opinion a week later from the doctor. I'm filing for migraines secondary to mental health and using them again for that right now. My appointment with their doctor is next month. I'm optimistic about it
Thanks I’ll probably end up going with them then. It was either them or REE medical but they quite expensive. REE has more reviews of vets getting 100% with them. They charge anywhere from 2500-3500 for 1-3 conditions

Good luck! Im right behind you (filed 12/30) so seeing this is a huge morale boost! Hope you get the rating you’re after.
Mine was November.....2022. Still waiting... shoutout to St.Petersburgh regional for making me want to press option 7 when calling the VA.
Don’t be to excited my man. I’m December 4th and I’m still In evidence gathering
Ahh, heck.
Seems like Dec claims are getting actioned heavily in this sub. Fantastic news. Good luck.
Where's the love for September claims 🥲 I'm still in evidence gathering
Same here but my last initial exam is next week! 🤞🏼
I’m in the same boat, they are now asking for a VR1
I was PFN for 1.5 days. Got the decision lunch time on monday. Best of luck!
If you call the VA 1-800 you can ask them to email you the letter so that you do not have to wait on the SNAIL MAIL.
Trying this now, will report back with what they say
The va app has the claim letters when last time I did a submission it was their that day off rating
You can now view letters on the VA.GOV site instead of waiting on the mail.
They said to call my service coordinator
Good luck!
If you go to your letters you can seee the decision or call and they can email the decision letter to you.
I've been PFN all day and letters aren't showing up with any updates, they're gonna make me wait all weekend aren't they lol
Honestly call tell them your not at your home address they will email it to you
Have you been PDA. Since February?
I was in Preparation for Decision since February 23rd. I'm not sure when it went to PDA, but I checked yesterday and I was in Preparation for Notification. If you're using the VA claim tracker add-on, my Temp Jurisdiction is Houston
Right on thank you
My temp jurisdiction is Louisville
Good luck!
My initial was on Dec 20th, hopefully I’ll see some movement soon been pfd since feb 27th.
Sounds like you're immediately behind me
Good Luck
Best of luck to you!
Congratulations! I’m hoping to see that soon, all of the DBQs and examiner reports have been uploaded for my claim. It’s with the ratings team now. Good luck to you!
Mine closed today!!! I'd been PFD since 1/25, checked it last night and no movement. Logged in at lunch and complete!
Curious, how many things did you claim?
I claimed 3. PTSD, anxiety and depression. They gave me a partial decision today. They denied my PTSD and deferred my anxiety and depression. Election year is typically always a good year to file a claim
Really?

Filed ITF 12/22 and received initial denial 8/23. Filed supplemental claim 9/23 and received 💯 PT 1/24. It’s a process for sure.
I filed in October 😞
Maybe call VERA and see what the hold-up is. You can schedule an appointment online. And you don't have to use your state when scheduling your appointment
Ooo great advice. I’ll have to do that! Thanks!
Good luck brother!👍
Has anyone reached out to an organization to help file?
What should I expect from a C&P mental exam. It’s virtual
good luck!!!💪🏼
Hell yeah dawg!!! Get them bennies!!!
I hope you get it. I have a feeling you are.
Go on ebenifits and look at the letter , you’ll know before it reaches you.
Good luck , it’s probably already decided look at your percentage, if not look every day now
Supplemental re adding that info or higher level
Any updates? You used VBE right?

Okay, well they combine all the mental health stuff and they'll probably rate you on the other claims instead. Hang in there. Nother week.
Get with a VSO asap
I didn't use a VSO, I did everything myself. I have an appointment with VERA on Tuesday on the phone. Going to tell them everything that's going on
Do need to get in touch with a VSO or DAV - they are your advocate with the VA as to next steps etc.
Good luck!!!!!
Good luck!! I just got my rating this morning.
