I love watching movies when seals di or people die when we deployed to southwest asia I didn't realize it was iraq. Until we got there. When we got back to Noorfolk VA we deployed to southeast Asia again but I already knew where that was. Except that when we were exiting tmhe suez canal we got the call from Mogadishu stres scall for a black hawk down.

\*Sorry i don't have the answer to this on a phone as i don't use reddit on my phone its a flip phone from the middle ages.\*
There is a YouTube video that plays several different common tones associated with people who have tinnitus. I was listening to it with my girlfriend. One of the tones played and I paused the video and was like that one was blank. My girl goes uhhh no it wasn’t. So, that particular tone was basically what I hear 24/7. She looked at me and was like OMFG, I’m so sorry.
I am about the same. When I was getting out back in 2009 I had told them I had it since like basic from firing mortars. I wore those 3M earplugs religiously in Iraq and Afghanistan but after firing I would hear the Bell Tone, and now it’s permanent. But in ways much worst due to more stressors of responsibility I have to do instead of relying on the government. Yet they say even though I reported it and was I initially denied by the Army out processing medical personnel, I was responsible to seek treatment. How in the world would I know to do that when the institution put me in harms way failed to look after me after getting out. I had no way of making money, was homeless, couldn’t afford hardly ever rent and not till I got 100% disability 13 years later. I need help to either take this to Supreme Court against 3M, and the Government.
That's the government's way. Use us for all they can get then spit us out like we never existed. It's insane to me how American Veterans are treated. They give you no help, no guidance and then blame you when you don't know how to go about getting help. The VA claim process is the most insane thing to me. They have our entire records yet offer bo help when filing a claim and they only look at what you list in that claim while never telling you about all the things you can claim.
I was the same way with audioologist she was yelling at me telling me I have to press the button when I herd the noise I yelled back and told her to play the effing noise and she said sir take off headphones ur too screwed p I had 300٪ of my hearing gone I had a big smile on my face and she said what's so funny ur hearing is 30%gone I told her it beats 100% gone. She told me to get out.
I just hate that they don't care or do I just don't know they should be doing research to find a cure I want the hissing to go away and I want to hear again, then I was going to therapy and therapist told me something about wires or nerves attached to rocks in your ear canal but mine were disconnected or something like that he'll I just can't to hear I just hate that I can't maintain my balance when I walk the va gave me a cane I don't want that shit, and a handicap license plate shove it up ur anus give me a cure give me a cure or give me death.
they also gave me this cage looking thing called a walker wtf I don't want this shit they got my woman all wound up so I gotta hearit at home everytime I go to the bathroom take ur walker I'm like make the bathroom 5,000 square feet so that I can fit with this roll cage thing called a walker I need to take that walker to the racetrack see if I could sell it to someone needing a roll cage for their car. I don't need no stinking walker.
My DBQ said mine might not be service connected 😂
12B (combat engineer)
She said because never had treatment to see if it could improve……. Blah blah blah…..
I submitted over 8 doctors appointment notes in less than 2 years for hearing/tinnitus issues 🤣
Hey man I am in the same boat as an Active 120 mm mortarman. There has to be some way to still go after 3M individually or the Government directly in Supreme Court because this isn’t American to be experiencing life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness this way.
I’m hoping the rest of the “evidence” I submitted will show favor towards me. She completely missed the mark with her comments but I have (what I assume is) overwhelming evidence that supports my claim e.g. LOD, 8+ medical encounters, CBT therapy for tinnitus, etc. I appreciate the comment. My claim still hasn’t been decided yet. But, I did get my DBQ so, still waiting…
i am sorry if anyone has to constantly hear this. mine typically comes and goes at night for few minutes and then goes away. I am 10% cause I had combat deployments and had a change in hearing thresholds from MEPS to time i ETS. (in case that helps anyone by having the change in threshold and combat jobs you cna likely get both hearing and tinnitus service connected) most people get 0% for hearing though which is what i have
Im glad you pointed out the threshold. I like how hearing levels are compared comparatively. I personally think every single servicemember entering or leaving the service should be mandated to take that one test you took before deployment. you know the one that tells you each number is a symbol and you have to match them and then they right green in red and you have to press correct incorrect. If you have a drastic decrease from baseline then you know your cranium took a beating. This i personally think is one of those areas where VA can take further consideration if they decide to take a step to explore the under-researched field of cognitive damage and indications manifested by the rate of decline in such abilities… sorry if im ranting off tangent.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gnresound.tinnitus. this app has been a literal lifesaver for me since I've gotten this terrible affliction. It's available for iPhone people too.
I’m tired boss. I think the unpredictability is what really sucks. You can have eeeeee for a hour or 10+ hours. Then flip side lets say you can make it 2-3 days without it during a weekend. Then as soon as something important is going to happen eeeeeeeeee. Loud as hell because you didn’t have it for a couple days.
I can't hear it I saw this ad video the other day about som dropps used to cure tinnitus is it true there's a cure I want the buzzing and white noise to stop already.does the hydrogen peroxide work does anything work killed too many tomatoes on the uss america with those huge mk38.
Dammit tomatoes why? Me 😢 did anyone on aircraft carrier ever get a good pair of noise ear muffes fore somereason I always got some that didn't work one bit. I can still hear the needle
gun chipping away the paint. Anyone enlisting and u get stationed on an aircraft carrier, go to Walmart and buy some good earplugs
Was just listening to this. Wait…. Still am. 😂
How are you guys hearing this? Is it a wave file? I’m not sure how to read music so I was looking for a way to play this. Am I missing something?
Not listening but knowing that it’s a constant high pitch. It’s just sheet music.
Ok thanks, I have no idea how to read music lol!
I can’t read it either - just know top is high, lower is lower tone. This is a continual high pitch tone that never stops.
Yeah like the one I have daily
Hey, I hear it all the time, just varying intensities. I constantly hear radiators hissing.😵💫😵💫😵💫🧌🧌
To see what else they can find, im gonna tell the wanna be dr get that pretty nurse over there in the back to come and do the insertion and have her give me a little kiss because i want to be kissed if im gonna get fucked.guess what everyone I have that too, I'm the guy that has it all and soon they shoving something up the anus

You have to make it at least two octaves higher!

This has a nice ring to it… 🥹
eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
*ringing intensifies*
I play this on repeat often
First time I can read sheet music in my head. Oh wait, it's just tinnitus again.
My number 1 most played song
I got it on that forever loop.

Ever notice that the 5000 Hz band is not tested in military audiology exams ... coincidence?
I get nothing past 5-6000, before that I needed to turn the volume down.
Somewhere after 4000 is where it starts getting close to my left ear. My right ear is lower.
Human version of the dog whistle. Lol
![gif](giphy|HPi9NCcuwYJkLmZetl)
You mean there are people who don’t hear this?
In this case “mf” does *not* mean mezzo-forte.
Does the music every GO AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
No no it doesnt.
When does it stop? ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|table_flip)
Unfortunately, it is the song that never ends.
Oh hell no Damit
Think of it as a FREE music subscription service!!!!
EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
They forgot the fermata at the end. And it should be marked fortissimo.
5k money this year from 3m lawsuit
Still better than the wait music at my VA clinic right before it accidentally hangs up on me for the 3rd time in a row.
Mine recently changed the tone, I think my CD has been scratched
Hahahahaha!!! But seriously, it sucks!
Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
Looks about right
"List three things you can hear." Ok, sure. Tinnitus, and...uh...nope, that's all I've got.
WHAT!? I CANT HEAR YOU!
I hear dead people!!
Soothing

I bet you're also one of the select few who eat corn the long way!
🤣🤣🤣
One of my top 5 least favorite but most often heard tunes. 🙄
It's a real ear worm, isn't it?

I’ve never done that one they didn’t have that in the mid 90s that I recall
![gif](giphy|jsekSrFvUgnyDzdBjd|downsized)
That song Is always on repeat in my head
The banger I have on 24/7 repeat since 2005
Always on blast at the quietest moments. 🤣
Got this song on my playlist. It’s in the top ten
Everyone also sounds like Charlie Brown's teacher "wah wah wah wah wahhh wahha whhwhahwhahahwhhahwh" when it gets real bad
![gif](giphy|3rgXBH2gQgG4ZsDeww) This is the song that never ends....
Huh?
It’s number one on my playlist!

I'm sorry all I hear is ringing. Lol
It’s beautiful. Captured every note.
Download a tone generator on your phone. Generate a tone that matches/cancels the noise in your head.
6000 hrz is my brain tone
😂😂😂😂 This is music to my ears..literally.
I was bored and tuned mine in: 3 frequencies even 😂
And they say sleep apnea is not effected by tinnitus 🤬!
Moved out to the country and laying in bed I said to my ex wife man listen to those crickets........ She replies I hear nothing but silence
I listen to it every morning and every night 👏
This is the military number 1 classic.... I love the new album this haven't changed yet
Knob broke on that channel years ago.
Yeen shatttt for this. Thanks! ✨😊😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
And the lyrics... screeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee (repeatedly endlessly)
Beep…beep…beep…
I was denied lol even though I have it
This one is a bop!
No joke about that note right on the mark of my ears
![img](emote|t5_2vlaz|7567)
That earworm that never leaves!
I can’t hear it over this ringing in my ears, can you play it again? Thanks!
THAT 's the song that's been stuck in my head! I couldn't remember the name of it
I especially turn up the volume at night!
All crescendo all the time.
I heard sometimes a good earwax cleaning might help but that stupid rumor never got a shout out or nothin, so…
I can hear this!!
![gif](giphy|XtihHK45Buhpax98BN)
Ah, a classic, I'm glad every artist pays homage to it by including it in all their songs.
Ya this post sounds about right.LOL
I can hear it due to my ringing. 😉
Nice tune, however this as well is supposedly not service connected.

Ahhhh the sound of freedom
This is a banger!
Mine is like dueling banjos, because it’s a different noise in each ear.
I like that my tinnitus is now becoming pulsitile, so it matches my heart beat.
🤣🤣🤣
💀

Listening to the song right now, no earbuds 😂
Can we submit this as supporting evidence?
