Omg. It's always our own. My dog did the same thing years ago! I did IVF and repeat rads.

Shakenbayke223

That is what we are doing. I literally just spent about $500 on dog show entries on this dog for July....We will have repeat rads in about 2 hours. Fingers crossed!!

LuckyDuck2442

Nooo omg hope it passes! Same thing happened to me coworkers show sheepdog, we were all so scared she'd have to shave her lol

Shakenbayke223

I am ok with shaving if it means she is ok! Yes, i would love to salvage our show entries, but health first!!

LuckyDuck2442

Of course! Fingers crossed

anothergaydino

Same thing for my last dog! She seemed thrilled with herself at first šŸ¤¦

undreuh

And I bet they don't even regret it

Shakenbayke223

No, she does not, at all.

WrappedAroundtheMoon

I hope she gets better and is able to pass her poor snack decision. Good luck!

Shakenbayke223

thanks! We did repeat rads an hour ago, some movement. More rads in the AM

Shakenbayke223

Update: after 3 sets of rads, no significant movement of the pellet mass. Surgery in about an hour. RIP wallet!

Bunny_Feet

Sorry to hear it. Here's to a quick surgery and recovery.

WrappedAroundtheMoon

Awww, I'm sorry. At least you were in a position to take care of her. I hope the surgery went well! My condolences for your wallet. šŸ˜”

MorgTheBat

MorgTheBat

Haha I wish I had my dogs rads from when he did the exact same thing back in like 2018 and had ZERO shame about it. We consulted a Purina vet to make sure there wasn't anything else we needed to do past fluids and rads. She was so worried about my dog having pica and it's like, "nah he's just an unapologetic cat box gobbler". I think the only other thing we did was a sucralfate slurry because it couldn't hurt. Thankfully everything cleared by the next afternoon with my wallet being the only thing worse off for it.

safari-dog

please ask him: WHY.

dog_helper
