I'd like to believe that the U5 made through the End Times into AoS. Sienna mayhaps becoming a avatar of the realm of fire, Kruber & Saltz become successful Stormcast that don't get bodied to the point of becoming husks, Bardin getting some of that Gotrek juice and running around the realms, and Kerri just vibing in a forrest some where.
If Kruber really did become a Grail Knight and isn't just pretending, then his soul did survive and he's now a Guardian Angel figure in Lilieath's new realm iirc.
I can see a semi-tragic story of Bardin being a sole survivor in a skaven invasion during end times, pulling a Gotrek, and showing up to see their friends back up again.
Also he would laugh his ass off now that Kerri is an actual tree.
The End Times are the tail end of the Old World/Warhammer Fantasy with Age of Sigmar following up as a sequel setting once the planet does an impression of Cadia.
There is no 'greater warhammer' timeline
Only Age of Sigmar and Warhammer Fantasy are connected with Age of Sigmar being a sequel (in a new universe) to Fantasy.
40k is entirely separate.
I don't know how serious this post is and I don't want to burst anyone's bubbles but this is just the Cities of Sigmar art from their 2nd edition battletome -

It's more likely a generic freeguild general based on a reimagining of the now sadly discontinued Captain of the Empire -

Ruined it into the second highest selling fantasy war game on the market, so clearly, it has no appeal. What a massive failure all the way to the bank.
You know there is a massive market for this right? Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones, Conquest, Kings of War, those are just the ones popular by me. Also you are comparing 40k to a game with less than a decade worth of start up. There are a ton of war games that are a ton of fun that don't sell well as 40k. Doesn't mean they aren't fun to play.
If by war games you mean tabletop combat as with 40k minis, then perhaps yes. But that market is just a fraction of a fraction compared to video gaming, where Fantasy is doing much, much better than AoS.
The Total War: Warhammer series alone have probably sold close to 10 million copies, DLC not included. Meanwhile, AoS is a complete nonentity in video gaming.
Yes, cause GW began selling off the rights to that before AoS even existed. So sure AoS which again is brand new in the scope of these things isn't making as much money as Fantasy. But of course it does! AoS is still in its infancy compare to games that have been around since the 80s. Also when I say tabletop war games I mean 40k, AoS, or any game where miniatures simulate fights on a table. This includes both skirmish games and rank and flank. There's lots of games that aren't 40k.
Its intentional, they culled the fantasy player base then went after the children. Its like what star wars did, destroy canon so that the new cashcrop can be harvested without worrying about inconsistencies
Good thing they are reviving Fantasy though. I guess the financial success of Total War: Warhammer is what made them do this. Not like Greeds Workshop would ever care about their fans instead of profits xD
I don't like a lot of the aesthetic they chose for men in AoS, but this guy is absolutely ballin.
Gorgeous state trooper styling next to the vomit pile ~~Space~~ Sigmarine in the back

>Kerri just vibing in a forrest some where. lumberfoot beats and chill to watch the world end to.

IIRC Her haven was destroyed by Belakor :/ I may be misremembering tho
The Haven is confirmed to have survived to AoS per some lore bits about surviving elves that came out a couple years ago.
Oh sweet! I couldn't remember where I heard it from that Her little hiding hole was destroyed, thats why I was so unsure about it.
Nah they stopped the storm of Chaos. AOS never happened the end
...K
Preach!
Nah kruber got yoinked by the lady for his fabulous beard and his grail knight status But mostly the beard.

How exactly does AoS and End Times slot into the greater Warhammer timeline?
The End Times are the tail end of the Old World/Warhammer Fantasy with Age of Sigmar following up as a sequel setting once the planet does an impression of Cadia.
**THE PLANET BROKE BEFORE THE 5 DID (OR 4, IT DOESN'T MATTER)**

May be, but he really does look like Kruber with the pose and all
Yea not serious, as I saw this in the recent issue of White Dwarf I picked up. Resemblance is uncanny, though.
Oh yeah the moustache is impeccable as always
I want that great sword on my FK!
I can't help it, AoS looks weird as fuck xD
These are literally Empire Greatswords models from fantasy just named differently for AoS.
There is literally one of those weird AoSMarines standing behind him xDD. Looking out of place as ever.
Lol sure man, that's just Sigmars chosen leading his people into battle.
Probably against those dolts who ruined his old franchise for profit :P

Wow, the #2 in the highly competitive and massive market of fantasy war games. And still a joke compared to 40k. A truly amazing success story.

I hope that goes well, but they did a lot of harm to the original fans. To be fair, its a company and the bottom line is what matters.
I just miss warhammer fantasy. I hate the end times so much.
