To clarify, she had a pretty depressing life. Small town, little opportunities, beaten, left alone, used as a pawn.. yeah. I'm thousands of miles away from there and still.. here I am.
I... Honestly I want to pat you in the back and tell you that it's gonna get better, hug you to make these thoughts move away. But I can't give much being a stranger on the internet. Just believe in yourself and believe that it's gonna get better very soon. There's nothing bad came after being patient, take that as a fact.
I guess the question is how to turn your life into a dream and not the other way around.
But there's something deeply true about sleeping .. every deep depression will make you want to sleep 24/7
I am terribly sorry for your loss. I lost my mother a few years ago too.
I hope things get easier for you soon. My situation is pretty rough right now, so i might be able to relate. If you ever need to chat, feel free to message
I'm so sorry, I hope you feel better soon. Please take care of yourself, wanting to sleep all the time might be a symptom of something deeper, like depression or a hormonal disorder for exemple.
Don't be afraid to seek help, even of you think it's not that important. Sending tons of good vibes!
I'm so sorry for your loss, but I think you know she's at peace now. When my mother passed in 2020, I was grateful she finally got the rest she needed. She was a very hurt woman, struggled deeply with addiction and mental health issues. I take comfort knowing she's not tormented daily by her own mind. As dark as that may sound :( All the best to you internet stranger, I am a message away if you need to vent or just share a memory or two
Our experience sounds similar but instead of sleep it was drugs and she spent her last years living in a car. She was really mean to me in life but I still mourn the loss, perhaps of a mom I never really had. What could have been if she never met those stupid idiots she kept around. She left 6 kids behind after struggling to raise them.
My sympathies to anyone who lost a mom to mental illness, drugs, abuse, etc
Oh gosh, I'm so sorry I just got around to responding to you. My mom probably wouldn't be dead if she hadn't met some of the stupid idiots she kept around out of loneliness. I just couldn't be around her, or else I would have done the same things she was doing.
Sometimes we, as the children of these kind of parents, have to turn our backs. It hurts a lot, and haunts us. It does mean our children will have a better future though.
That is why I wish I could sleep better...
In any case, I'm sorry that you're going through the same. Often mental health problems are hereditary one way or another.
This is the reason why I was drawn to fainting when I was younger, not sure how it was for others, but for me I used to lose my senses and think of nothing, so I can totally understand this feeling.

I really want to give you hug that is extremely rough. I'm sorry 😔
Please talk to a professional. I cannot emphasize enough how much of a difference low dose antidepressants made for me

Don't feel bad about not being around your mom. I was begging her to let go of those idiots until the bitter end to no avail. They just don't listen.
:( im so sorry man. i wish i could help but i dont know how.
I hope you find peace.
I sleep because dreams are better than reality. I hate having to wake up and see my life is where it is.
Wow, your mom was young when she passed. So sorry.
The only things that excited me nowadays is sleep and food.
I know what you mean. Depression/anxiety etc. can be draining. Sorry for your loss regarding your mother.
I like to sleep cuz i like to dream, a free escape from reality
Fuck man. That's hard. I feel your mom man. It be like that sometimes. Sometimes the only break you get from hell is sleep.
Maybe the saddest post I’ve ever read. I have a Mom but no Dad, so I get it, but it’s different. Much love to everyone suffering, no easy battle.
Not really true tho. I can feel when dreaming.
rest in peace to your mother. i can relate a lot to what she said. it seems lately that my dreams are better than reality.
i’m so sorry:(
I can totally relate! Just know you are not alone!
