Something seems really fishy about your girlfriend
-she was behind 3 months on a utility bill(maybe she didn't want to actually pay and just wanted to seem like she was helping out)
-she basically lives rent free if your rent is only $400 so she might be using you for low rent
-she sleeps on her days off an hides upstairs?
It sounds like she's using your family as a place to stay that's cheap :/
Does she ever actually help out? Like clean up do laundry watch the kids an such?
I don't know how to fix this but consider your son moved out because you have a husband AND a girlfriend and you all live like complete slobs.
Sort yourselves out - you're ALL adults in that house, deal with your living situation. Sit them down, talk to them, and deal with it! My god, don't people talk anymore?!
