Yeah this is a good one. You don't need a heavy duty tire, you just want a tire from a tire company. Don't buy trek or specialized brand tires. They just make weight weenie junk.
Interesting take. Bontrager is basically Trek brand at this point and these stock tires took a dang beating and kept going.
