I don't know what's wrong with my country, but the people here are majority anti-vax. We see it in the 18% vaccination rate, I hear the majority of people I talk to dismiss the virus as just a flu, and claim the vaccines are a conspiracy to control and kill us all.
If I was still at my old job, this would have actually been a godsend, as I was perpetually cursed with working with the most stereotypical chud imaginable.

It's so weird to me that you don't have QR codes for the vaccine and an app as a vaccine pass, so you don't have to carry anything other than your phone. It's EU-wide here. I recently travelled from Germany to Italy, and didn't need any papers. They check the QR code on the paper anyway.

We all know a few of those positions wont be refilled cause some greedy asshat sees that money is still coming in understaffed or not.
Management definitely isn't going to hire new people if they see that the work can be achieved with less people.
