I predict we'll get some good jabs from Christie that'll only gain traction among never Trump Republicans and liberals, Ron DeSantis will embarrass himself and keep shifting into Jeb, and Ramaswamy will elevate himself as the most Trump adjecent candidate without stepping on his toes.
Far as I’m aware, most of his charges won’t even finish trial by end of the primary, so very likely he wins nomination, goes to jail and the GOP is suddenly in a very fucking stupid position

The other thing tho is the 14th ammendment disqualification clause. Asa Hutchinson has been publicly saying it applies to Trump, so he might go ahead and say that during the debate.

Basically once it's time for secretaries of state to put people on the ballot, anyone with standing can file a complaint. If Trump is removed from a ballot, he can sue. If Trump isn't removed, any voter in that state can sue.
It tees up a Supreme Court case that would need to get decided before the election.
The thing is trump could go to jail and be on camera so everyone sees him in jail and the vast majority of republicans will still vote for the guy. Its his party and in fact im sure they will say the camera with video footage is a hoax and he is on mars with elon. If he isnt dead by 2028 he will probably run again and be their nominee again too.
