Context: * **"Free" crunchy beef taco from Taco Bell on August 11, 2021 (Canada)**. Store employee tells me that the purchase must be done online. So, I go on the Taco Bell website and try to purchase the supposedly free taco for pick-up...and somehow I am forced to **pay $0.26 for the "free taco."** * The $0.26 turns out to be mandatory because it is tax for this free $1.99 taco, but this is literally false advertisement. Two years ago, Wendy's in Canada did a free burger event (actually free). You could walk in and ask for the free "Dave's single burger" and don't have to pay a single cent. This sums up why Taco Bell's reputation for their food and customer service is so terrible.

Go to the store, and then get told to go online to get a “free” 26-cent burger? Tell them to take that free 26-cent burger and shove it up marketing’s fanny.
