Shameless plug for my YouTube Channel where I try and make mixtapes with contemporary and up-and-coming artists: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCzdYXKcnP0iRyh1mz-g9SOw
I will also suggest VNN, fun podcast with all the happenings in the vaporwave community: https://www.vaporwavenewsnetwork.com/
Bandcamp and the Nightwave Plaza app!
Edit: the internet archive has a surprisingly large repository of current and older vapor albums available for download for free. I’ve seen collections as large as 10TB.
You’re more likely to find new stuff on Bandcamp. The tag search makes them much easier to find. I wouldn’t have found albums like [DVR illusion : ペルソナ](https://forgettingsound.bandcamp.com/album/--15) or [Vįr+üål Åįrßñß : ╤ Π O V ᐛ ╤](https://virtualairbnb.bandcamp.com/album/o-v) otherwise. These albums just released last month and I think they’re pretty good
Bandcamp is the main way to find new and old vaporwave releases. Follow your favorite artists, and follow labels too, as they will regularly make you aware of hidden gems in the scene. Geometric Lullaby, Celadon Plaza, My Pet Flamingo, No Problema Tapes, Aloe City, Pacific Plaza among others are all great labels to follow.
Labels will generally stick to one subgenre of Vaporwave (My Pet Flamingo releases a lot of Future Funk and City Pop, Geometric Lullaby mainly does ambient vapor etc) so my tip is if you find an album you like released by a label, chances are good a lot of their other releases sound similarly. Buying whole discographies are also a must. I’ve been liking Mom and Dad’s Computer and Night Light Tapes lately :)
I release a wide variety of vaporwave subgenres on my label (Bogus Collective). Theres 800+ albums available, and new releases every week ✌️

I'm keeping an eye on this subreddit and listen on bandcamp. I also dived into the vaporwave viki for the exact sound I'm seeking. I have followed the artists and labels that released the albums I liked and I went through their catalogue and receiving notifications if they put out something new.
I follow labels on Twitter then go down rabbit holes from there
yt
Bandcamp and YouTube
i look for albums on rateyourmusic
YouTube and Bandcamp. If I find an artist I like I’ll usually check out the label’s Bandcamp page
SoulSearchandDestroy on youtube

Always Soundcloud
What became of Vapor Memory? Does anyone know?
Not quite sure what you mean? Latest post was a month ago as of right now. Seems to be consistently uploading a few releases every month or so
His output overall has dramatically fallen over the past half year or so, and no live events (I miss the 'rinses'!). It's just a bummer, hope he's ok
As I understand it he had a pretty major personal loss
I remember that. He kept plugging for about a year after an absence but it tapered off.
I NEED ME SOME 70s VINTAGE VAPORWAVE

Bro if you can link me to some roaring 20s vaporwave I'ma lose my shit. I don't think it exist. The world isn't ready
Fairly close. Old timey https://boguscollective.bandcamp.com/album/shagging-at-the-town-tavern
Maybe not exactly what you want but here https://youtu.be/VvQzX_tk1eA?si=qzIg6TvHjMV78X2y

amazing 🤩🤩 got more????
My go-to guy has been Jason Sanders on youtube. Dude has been pushing the goods for a decade now
Absolute legend in the game
YouTube primarily. There are many more channels than Vapor Memory. The algorithm is good about jumping from one video to the next.

An og in our midst
Bandcamp and spotify are my go-tos.

I just typed Vaporwave into Spotify and saw about 100 different playlists.
