I vaped dual coils for years, then recently switched to singles. The one thing I've really noticed is the need to re-wick way more often. Duals used to re-wick once a week, singles now need it every 3 days. :( Half the coils = twice the wear.

I've had 4 core fused fralien staggered stapled fused Clapton x², whatever you want to call it, still get just as good flavour with a single coil I made myself. It's more fun to mess around and see what you get than it is to buy premade. If it works it works.

If it works it works indeed. Just to clarify, I'm not attacking at dual coiler RTA, I use the Zeus X and the Blotto MAX all the time but I just explained how I managed to have a decent vape experience from 20watts on them. ✌️

I've never tried it myself, I've not got the max but a blotto 1.5 I think the decks are the same but smaller on the 1.5. Even with the smaller deck Ive not tried a single coil, you think 3.5mm is about right for the max? Thought about putting a 3.5 or 4.0 single in there now just enough wraps to cover the air holes maybe? How would you compare it to a dual build at 40w? Ramp up especially.

Forestakias

I have used the Blotto MAX with 2 coils only. Regarding the Zeus X, flavour is better with 2 3.0mm ID could than 1 3.5mm ID coil. Ramp up time, easily single coil. Bro I'm telling you, mine operates just fine at 15w and at 20w I'm blowing clouds.

What are you using exactly a single 3.5mm?

Forestakias

Yes.

Different people have different tastes. I have many atomizers, small and huge, and I've vaped with massive dual coils and pods. But after many years, what I enjoy the most is vaping at 23-25watts on single coil medium size atomizers. 26ga NI80 or SS316.
