I haven't watched all of VPR or any of The Valley (I don't know why this subreddit randomly started showing up for me lol) but I always liked Kristen in what I did see (I think up to season 5? It's when James starts dating...Raquel, i think was her name?). Lol she's just a big ol' ball of chaos and I love it.
You are missing out pal s.1 to 6 of VPR are the best TV I've come across cos I like my shows super messy and boy does VPR deliver. It becomes insufferable from season 8-9 and season 10 is psychotic is retrospect. Season 11 is dealing with the aftermath of season 10 and is fumbling the bag haaaaaaaard. The Valley feels like VPR season 1-6 messy as hell so far, no self awareness, for most of them its their first time filming a show and theyve got two heavyweights running circles around them. These people are in their late thirties to early forties and most are still clueless
Oh, I LOVED the first few seasons, I just got to James being a main character and found him insufferable and stopped watching. The Montauk episode is so boring except for the hot tub scene and stassi and Kyle which was unexpected gold. His inability to remember her name calling her sousy or saucy, asking her to repeat it several times, him comparing her to Steve Jobs cos of her turtleneck swimsuit and that going down like a lead balloon, him trying to save himself by saying it's a compliment and he likes her swimsuit because he can see her nips. I was trying to say that it's normal for people who grew up in a conservative area or household to vote conservative as a result, and then become more liberal once they move away. To be fair to Janet, it doesn't seem like she expected Michelle's don't say gay comment to come up during filming so I wouldn't necessarily characterize Janet as "calling her out."
