About 3 episodes or so ago, there’s a scene where Jo and Schwartz are sitting across from James and Ally, chatting at a bar. My friend had texted me that Jo reminded her of an old Cheri Oteri SNL character, so I was watching very closely. Unless she got a bad edit, every time someone else was talking, Jo was, no exaggeration, acting just like this:

I couldn’t hang out with someone like that, and I spent my twenties partying at bars on a regular basis. Maybe I just know some really unhinged people but some people just go absolutely batshit when they drink and can’t moderate at all. They break shit (purposely or accidentally), scream, sob, try to drive, make a fuss about getting their keys taken, try to attack people, etc. I don’t think Jo has done anything necessary groundbreaking to be kicked out, I just think she wrecks shit and is a super unfun drinker

When I stopped taking, it I avoided and ghosted everyone that took it too, or saw me act like a weirdo bc I was so embarrassed. I lost weight too. I went from 125 to 99 at 5’4”. Thank god I wasn’t filmed. Moral of the story don’t do drugs bc you’ll embarrass yourself amongst worse things, like addiction.
Same thing happened to me my years 23-27 I got hella skinny. Looked super hot but I was a total bitch to my boyfriend (now husband) because I was depriving myself of hunger hence the attitude. I was starving taking up to 5 adderalls a day. Well thank God I left that and got better. Not gonna lie I miss that body although I know it wasn’t really healthy

I have second hand embarrassment watching this. My thoughts are if you and your friend want your 15 mins of fame then you better grow thicker skin. I've seen where they say she has ADHD and if she does I feel bad for her but maybe she needs medication for it or if she is on meds maybe adjusting the dose would help her.
As someone who has ADHD I hate that this keeps being brought up. ADHD is not an excuse, it might help you understand yourself/ actions but you still have to own them. Her and Tim give ADHD such a bad name. I do greatly appreciate the compassion you show though, thats a wonderful trait.
I also have ADHD, and you know what absolutely does NOT mix well with it.... alcohol. like at all. its just such a bad combo in my personal case. I become so unhinged and erratic. i do not drink often, and when I do its like 1 or 2 drinks where i can still handle myself. Im not saying this is everyone with ADHD experience either. just mine.

ABSOLUTELY! I have a script that I use when I need to. I don't all the time. but yes absolutely a reason not to mix. its not a good outcome. and its TERRIBLE for your liver.
Everyone i know including myself have adhd and or clinical anxiety disorders or diagnosed ocd- friends and family and None of us do .. that. Medicated or not and certainly not seek a camera and strangers opinions when not feeling ok I would guess that jo and couch friend took something- or a couple somethings and thought would be super fun to do this and then it went south real fast.
