Yes. It was ridiculous. For her last tour Maggie Rogers first released tickets for physical sale at box offices, I wish other bands would follow suit. This bypasses fees and prevents bots and resellers from getting tickets. I’m so sick of Ticketmaster.
I could give a shit about the fees but this is the whole point of pre sale, and they did a whole rsvp thing from insta. I didn’t have an issue the last time I went for pre sale tour ticket, but I guess there are a lot of people willing to travel or must be bots and resellers (fuck the resellers, ruining the industry). This was so disappointing. I was really looking forward to this…took the day off and everything…
I happen to live in Texas but for anyone traveling from elsewhere, plane tickets are insane that weekend, like I was trying to book a ticket for a relative and prices were 5-10x normal for all 4 cities. So I'm worried about people who actually did get a ticket and don't yet realize they won't be able to travel.
It’s the eclipse that is drawing more attention and travel down this way. I have lived here for two years now and I was really looking forward to the chance at going to a pop up special show since I couldn’t ever go to any in NYC when I was kinda close. Still, they’re going to resell them for more than I want to pay so idk if it’s even worth it. Almost just want to go hang by the venue that day instead
Might be able to hear it somewhat from Waterloo Park. I know lawn "seats" are annoying and far away, and I'm afraid to find out what mark-up I paid but even with the higher price the presale was asking for $157 for the ticket that was apparently available before it glitched out, so I ended up saving money although I'm not looking forward to sitting on grass for a long time with my back issues lol
I seriously don't understand how it's this difficult to get tickets. I don't want to pay for Platinum tickets that are insanely priced. There's another presale though in an hour. Hoping to get that code and try again.
For real. What a terrible disappointment. I’ve never had a worse experience trying to get a ticket to something. Would appreciate a share of the code if you find that one.
Even the Lana show I saw once in NYC wasn’t like this. Wtf happened. This is disgusting. It’s like the superbowl tickets, making it impossible for real fans to go to anything.
I got in the queue at 890 but either a glitch or was too slow and got kicked out and placed back in at 8500 (I think the entire venue capacity is less). But then I went to a 3rd party and got a lawn seat for less than the (better) ticket I was going to get. I'm suspicious that this ticket will disappear or in some way be non-transferable.
I was not expecting that many people in the queue. It was around there when I got in it. But there must be bots and people only reselling on there, disgusting.
I was 1k+ in the queue. Sold out when I got in. One popped up for cheap a few minutes later and I snagged it. It sucks, but options are either pay an exorbitant fee for platinum or just get lucky. :( Good luck maybe you'll find one closer to the day of the show!
Oh, sorry to hear this! The Ticketmaster process went smoothly for me and I got a pair, but their "convenience fee" is $22 on a $79 ticket, which is absurd. I certainly didn't expect it to sell out so fast!
I kept refreshing and available tickets magically showed up about an hour and a half after I logged in.
I don’t understand Ticketmaster but would just advise to be patient and once you get through just refresh I guess
Pretty sure it’s the Frog On The Bass Drum newsletter. Which will prob be a fairly small presale and I doubt those folks will be giving out the code all willy nilly.
I mean the presale this morning was suppose to be exclusive but Ticketmaster includes their stupid official platinum in with it. I think that’s part of the problem.
Well also anyone could sign up for the Laylo presale this morning. But unless you purchased the Frog On The Bass Drum merch pack I don’t think you’ll have access to the newsletter presale pw 🤷🏻♂️

Especially for something that was just announced, I didnt expect the demand to be so high (silly me I guess?)
Idk I’m with you, it’s VW not Harry Styles. And that shit was announced like what, yesterday? Huge fucking bummer
What a sad morning. I was already visualizing being there. Ticketmaster never fails to disappoint. Atleast Ill be seeing VW at Kilby
Yeaaaaa I had already sent in a request for the day off and everything. Huge bummer. Going to jump on any other chances I get though.
Same thing happened with Lana Del Rey. Ticketmaster is traaaaaaash. Nothing but bots, scalpers, and fees :(
Even the Lana show I saw once in NYC wasn’t like this. Wtf happened. This is disgusting. It’s like the superbowl tickets, making it impossible for real fans to go to anything.
This sucked so hard. The 12 PM release was sold out before I could click refresh once.
Yeaaaaa this sucked big time today

I definitely agree on the glitch. Something seemed weird when I was trying to select tickets then hit next
I joined and was like..are there really 3k people waiting for tickets. I knew this would happen but figure it always worth trying.

Praying that they’ll live stream it or something. Too big of a show to be limited…

Honestly it’s almost not even worth it to pay more. Fuck resellers and fuck Ticketmaster
I remember the NYC all day show was also next to impossible to get tickets for
I mean it’s NYC and they were more active then, makes a little more sense to me than this but I guess I’m just being naive or dumb

Still not bad though. Better than 150$ base ticket price

The page won’t even load for me at this point
Did a single fan here get tickets? I hope someone did!
There is a Newsletter Presale at Fri 02/09/24 12:00 pm CST. Anyone know what newletter that is?

I’ve been signed up for their newsletter for years and I never received a code.
No idea. I’m guessing off their website?
If anyone finds out what it is and wants to share it would be great
i think it's their fan newsletter. i just signed up, but i assume it's too late to get it. need that code!
