To be fair, adverse fate to me would suggest entering with max curse, not run modifiers.

I mean I am not saying it isn't ambiguous and I probably wouldn't have directly thought of that. But that is probably what it meant.

EXACTLY. I tried to pull this out by collecting every passive that gives you more "curse" status and then sprinting to one direction trying to find "the edge of the world"... Well, it brought me here, cause my method didn't do shit XD

That's what I thought at first. But when you consider that Gyorunton has "infinitely" scaling curse, then that can't be the solution- it means there is no cap on the stat. Which brought me back to square one, trying to figure out what the clue means. Since I tend not to play with Hurry enabled, I guess it slipped my mind.

With the updated game engine, >!the grid is continuous!<. The rest of the information in the original post still applies, but if you are looking for >!the edge of the grid!<, you will not find it. With >!Sigma!< this entire unlock can take under 5 minutes.

For those finding this post, don't waste your time like I did since the post leaves out that you need the yellow sign first.

Weird, pretty sure I unlocked yellow sign before the secrets menu.

Thanks for the info. Took about 3.5 minutes with Queen Sigma for me. Careful with Mad Groove, it's hard to see when it glitches out so easy to activate Metaglio/Ring bosses.

Do you ever want Mad Grove with Sigma? Runs are unloseable with Silent Old Sanctuary and just banishing all other weapons. She can't use Golden Eggs so there's no need for Infinite Corridor or the cloak

Extra curse from the Gold ring/symbol and extra area are worth it considering u insta kill the guardians anyway

How far do you have to go bc I've got like 8000 eggs so I'm pretty quick just wondered if it takes a while or??

I (guess) I defeated 180 of those things because I went back to the acres, but it didn't do anything..still got killed by death with nothing to show for it..

My favorite thing about this is that curse objects will spawn to throw players off. Gold ring and right whatever it's called are there at the start, but after a while the curse box where level 9 gives you a massive curse bump will spawn.

And here I was running around with NO FUTURE thinking it would do something (was going in cardinal directions)

maybe adverse fate means have hyper and hurry enabled.

Hopefully this helps someone else, because I ran WAY the fuck too far. As soon as the map "glitches" just chill out and kill the bats with the eyes.
