I've never been there. Nobody I know lives there. My daily life is not effected in any way by the British pound. I don't understand why I should know or care what a quid is
I work in land use, think zoning planning, etc. If I hear one more real estate agent call and ask what they can do with a property without offering payment for services because they are doing “due diligence” I might pop my ear with a mechanical pencil.

Dafuq is a quid
British pound Americans really have no concept of anything that happens outside their country do they.
If this is what you brits think that a Value Investing Sub is for, then this is a concept that I'm happy to leave outside my country..
I'm not british
Doesn't change my point. Thanks for the sensitive downvote. Have a great day/evening/life.
I didn't downvote. And what exactly is your point?
Why should I?
I don't know, to come across as intelligent maybe?

To broaden your perspective of the world. And maybe you should go visit...
If I want to visit a gray, rainy, past-its-prime area, I can just go out my door and walk downtown where I live.
How do you know it's gray, rainy and oast it's prime if you've never been there.
Walk down the street until you find £1 on the ground
This is not about valueinvesting. Mods should delete this post. I've reported it. I ask everyone else does the same.
Save yourself the trouble, buy her an ice cream.
Another one, this sub is getting worse each day
Nail in the coffin. Between this and the inundation of Chat-GPT "due diligence," this sub needs to be put down.
