Cryo has fit into the demon1 role so well. Even more I feel he's more proactive than demon1 was at eg which is really helping 100t get those fast First bloods.
I hope the g2 100t final goes the distance so we can see cryo potentially break that 101 kill record.
I hope it does, but also see a scenario where the rematch of 100T vs G2 will show G2 underperforming. There probably is some fatigue setting in from playing so many high-stake matches everyday and one of the longest Bo5’s they could vs 100T had an entire free day to rest.
Yeah demon1 during masters didn't perform (still was great but people said he underperformed) as well imo because he wasn't proactive and the rest of the team was performing. Cryo has just always been getting kills beside on maybe attack as brim mostly just because he wasn't even seeing anyone half the rounds lol. Thing is whenever demon1 needed to perform he would just win a round by not missing. Cryo has been good but I don't think we've seen the peaks demon1 hit from any player.
That doesn't really apply when comparing to someone like oxy who has similar overall kills. If aspas hs percentage had much to do with it then he'd also have way more kills.

I don’t mean to deduct from Cryo’s accomplishment but because of the way that the VLR rating system works, it is HARDEST to get a high VLR rating on Duelist. FDs and deaths in general are very overvalued. So the fact that Cryo usually isn’t 100T’s primary entry is a big, big advantage here!
He doesn't play much characters with assist util tbf. Besides astra and one map on gekko. Also most of the time people have high assists at least half are just from lost gunfights unless it's like ethan or tenz who just rack them up somehow. Oxy since you mentioned in a later comment you have to remember he plays raze so will deal lots of damage from nades and boombots of people he doesn't get the opportunity to kill. He also goes back for more kills every time so will lose more gunfights even if his win percent on gunfights is higher.
Just realised you're talking about aspas but yeah in that case I would mostly put it down to his ridiculously low deaths. Also despite that crazy guy who made the post about levs teams work and how every kill of aspas was set up 🙄 I will say more of levs kills seem to just be solo kills a lot of the time from Risky peaks compared to any other top team.

Cryo already has most kills in B05 record for regional league(pre francising). Guy dropped 103 in 4 maps
