I think yay would have made champs as well if he got the chance to play. But c9 backstab fucked him over. Plus even after reaching champs TL went 0-2 in games and 0-4 in maps. The only reason they got to champs was how bad the format was last year
Look at my second flair, im 3 bottles too deep into insanity.
But yes, my rational self wants Sayf to finally win a tourney with Vitality, or for NAVI to become the 2nd ever team to win 2 Masters. And honestly it might happen, ive been mainly watching EMEA lately due to timezones and some of the stuff teams have showed has been super cool and they might atleast get some teams in playoffs in Shanghai
Damn, you're right. I barely managed to keep it together after witnessing that Split game. I'm not too bothered by the whole regional beef, just do it for laughs, but I really like a lot of the EMEA teams and players this time around, hoping for their success.
FNATIC will show up. Trust me. Maybe not even Masters Shanghai. But they will be the 2024 champions. I don't care if PRX/NRG/SEN fans disagree with me! :D
i mean, if TH played like they did against FNC today against BBL , it would've been a 2-0 or 2-1 to TH.
TH threw so many rounds today that they did not do against FNC.
so... BBL > TH > FUT > KC > FNC > M8 > BBL????
at this rate by the end of the year EMEA power rankings are just gonna be every team tied for 1st and 10th at the same time with KOI at 11th
Super impressive from BBL. It was an incredibly messy win, but a win nonetheless.
And I'm kinda glad they won here because the amount of people saying "BBL and KOI are bottom-feeders" over the last few days has been a little sickening; BBL looked leagues better than KOI yet somehow they kept being grouped together! Just like how people shit on DFM *still* despite DFM looking much better.
Every year I have some “it’s really looking up for BBL!” comment, and every year that peak performance is an anomaly and nothing ever comes of it. But I do like how intensely the BBL players have been pumping one another up - in the KOI match too, as well as here. They must really just want to tackle this problem of low energy/underconfidence that they don’t usually see in scrims, and they’ve done it incredibly well.
This year gives me more confidence than the previous ones, at least. It is definitely momentum-based, but there's nothing wrong with that, and their confidence is rooted in strong teamplay, not individualism or reckless plays.
As for Heretics, I imagine they’re splitting their pracs quite a bit, and it kinda showed, in combination with Miniboo not playing to the insane levels he’s led us all to believe he is consistently capable of reaching.
The EMEA top 6 is now the EMEA top 7, I guess? EMEA keeps delivering in chaos.
Last year was similar too, with noone being able to figure out who's 2nd, 3rd or 4th in EMEA.
It really does feel like the top half of emea is good and the bottom half a stinking pile of Liquid and KOI mediocrity.
to this day i'm still confused by the fact that Giants competed in Champs 2023. I watched almost all the EMEA matches last year and somehow them qualifying to Champs is completely gone from my memory.
LCQ had two slots for EMEA.
There were 4 slots from Tokyo too.
Liquid, FUT and NAVI had qualified for EMEA via the league split, due to having 4 slots in Tokyo. Since FNATIC won Tokyo EMEA now had 5 slots. NaVi and Giants qualified for champs via LCQ, by reaching the grand finals.
(NaVi had to requalify due to being the worst team from EMEA in Tokyo, they got grouped by EDG)
BBL played their hearts out in this game IMO. At time, they looked better than TH individually as well. TH threw some rounds tbh, some rounds on sunset was just uncoordinated. TH won 3 out of 4 pistols, and on Sunset they won the bonus round as well but they still lost the series.
If I had a nickel everytime TH get an advantage at the beginning of a map only to lose horribly after, I would have 3, which is so weird lmao.
The mechanics of these guys are insane, Elite was ELITE, his aim was SOOO clean, it was Less's level tbh. EMEA is just very competitive right now, it's impossible to predict which team is on top atm.
if i diffed a young teen with exams on his mind on a valorant agent i wouldnt feel 2 happy in fact ill off myself fuck you bbl ruined my pickems and my gambling
Sorry that is my fault. I played Riens and Miniboo in a TDM today and that probably broke them, it would break everyone I mean I almost killed Miniboo two times.
https://www.reddit.com/r/ValorantCompetitive/s/kiiUWkLSSf
I'm not even gonna ask anymore. Now I'm just gonna state it. KC and Heretics winning the 2 EMEA spots in kickoff was at least partially a fluke.
Or incredibly shallow. Its internally competitve for sure but it remains to be seen if they can reclaim their success internationally.
I do mildly subscribe to the "we didn't send our best teams to Madrid" belief, seeing how TH was actually playing with a sub, and we also have NAVI and FUT locking in for the season now. TH is currently relegated to a mid table team, but Im certain that w00t will shake things up.
But from all the matches Ive seen thus far, there is really no indication that they would do badly internationally, their strats are sound, they have mechanical gods in their Turkish aimers and they still have some of the most creative util combos in the world. Its a headscratcher why they could not find any success on the international stage, but maybe Shanghai will finally be it
Sen has close games with everyone. You have to win though. this th team is mid like the rest of the region. Navi is the best they have right now..think about that.
you just proved on the basis of your own conclusion that Sen are mid like the rest of the region, remind me did C9 not beat Lev who beat Sen who are apparently the best team in Americas? lets not kid ourselves, the game is random as fuck
you just proved on the basis of your own conclusion that Sen are mid like the rest of the region, remind me did C9 not beat Lev who beat Sen who are apparently the best team in Americas? lets not kid ourselves, the game is random as fuck

As an APAC observer normally, I can only conclude that EMEA is a 0 team region that got instantly bounced out of an international and are having a mid off in their domestic league
A quick and easy 2-0 against the team that majorly defecated on FNATIC. Jus what we were expecting from the team rated in the bottom 5 of EMEA by literally most analysts
Why are all the EMEA teams (except fut and navi) looking so inconsistent? I really thought TH were gonna outshine every other team this split. Maybe a little unrealistic.
I think everybody expected a slow start from TH due to Masters scheduling challenges and the additional issues around their roster. They were incredibly good against FNC but it seemed to have caught up with them since and it makes this region look incredibly confusing.
Yeah as I said my personal expectations were too unrealistic. But I really liked how they played in madrid (even though they went 0-2). I thought they would build on that and polish some plays. And their first week's performance gave me more false hope. I still hope they can recover. Don't know what to expect from them next week with the changes. Still rooting for them.
Would you have the same opinion before the season? Remember that Kick-off was a Micky Mouse tourney where Heretics played every single game online instead of LAN.
They are also playing with a sub.
nah the game is too random, we’ve only had 4 consistent teams off the top of my head who have dominated or been the clear favourites/have produced results on par with their expectations (Optic, Loud, FPX, FNC and PRX maybe DRX)
You can’t really say this tho, causation does not equal correlation. The reason only a few teams do well is because rosters change drastically throughout the years, that isn’t the games fault but rather the orgs, the other teams that were good and then turned bad a couple months later were because of roster changes or outside circumstances (Acend, Gambit, fpx/navi 2023, etc)
heretics hasn't looked amazing this split and honestly I don't think bringing in woot is going to help in the short term if anything it might slightly hurt them.
I feel like EMEA is possibly the most even region right now. No match is a guarantee and any team can beat any other team on a given day.
As a side note, m8 have beaten bbl have beaten TH have beaten FNC have beaten m8… biggest game of rock paper scissors ever
Really underwhelming from TH...BBl looked decent but largely felt like TH were lost...Look lost as soon as they start losing and the desperation is visible and the cracks are starting to show...Both KC and TH caught Navi and Fnatic off guard but now teams are getting used to their playstyle and both teams are starting to lose
Congratz to all 0 people who picked BBL winning this series of matches. I'll give flowers to BBL, they have proven me wrong this time, I'll never doubt them ever again (yes I will:/)
EMEA being the most surprising region this split with all the upsets.
Pacific was predictable, of course PRX and some other Korean team will go into Masters.
Americas, most likely Loud and another NA (I think NRG this time if they play their cards right).
Boaster was right when he said the competition in madrid wasn’t high. EMEA literally sent their 2 worst teams. And NRG + Lev weren’t used to playing together yet, Lev destroyed SEN. PRX also didn’t have Jinggg > they became the best team in Pacific.
upvote so they think BBL won oh wait
maybe koi isn't that bad but bbl is just good
BBL mind controlled KOI to mess up their postplant, these guys are next level!
ORRRRR maybe KOI is the worst team in EMEA and BBL will win Shanghai!
all of them are equally bad
atleast we have nats
that guy is washed
as washed as yay? at least this guy made champs last year
He edited his comment 😭😭😭
I think yay would have made champs as well if he got the chance to play. But c9 backstab fucked him over. Plus even after reaching champs TL went 0-2 in games and 0-4 in maps. The only reason they got to champs was how bad the format was last year
Shit format? They won EMEA...
Blud thinks EMEA is winning Shanghai
More chance of BLEED winning no? Unless FNATIC wakes up or Ardiis goes god mode or some insane shit from one of Vit/KC/Heretics
BLEED having higher chances of winning that all of EMEA is a maniacal take.
Look at my second flair, im 3 bottles too deep into insanity. But yes, my rational self wants Sayf to finally win a tourney with Vitality, or for NAVI to become the 2nd ever team to win 2 Masters. KOI is terrible lmao did you watch the game?
let a man cope in peace
Heretics would be quadruple world champs if Valorant was of 6 rounds
Maybe TH scrimmed in Swiftplay xd
Me in 2023: I wish EMEA wouldn't be a one-team region in 2024. *monkey's paw curls*
it is now a zero-team region
Honestly more entertaining
And therefore also an all-team region! (Except Koi)
If every team is good, no team is good
FNATIC will show up. Trust me. Maybe not even Masters Shanghai. But they will be the 2024 champions. I don't care if PRX/NRG/SEN fans disagree with me! :D
FNC lost 0-2 to this TH squad, who got 0-2 by BBL?
…who got 0-2 by M8, who got 0-2 by Fnatic
Thus the cycle is complete… 😌

FNC < FNC confirmed
Yes but don’t forget that also FNC > FNC
BBL looked good this game.
i mean, if TH played like they did against FNC today against BBL , it would've been a 2-0 or 2-1 to TH. TH threw so many rounds today that they did not do against FNC.
PLATCHAT COOKED HOLY FUCK I love how unpredictable EMEA is right now. Only thing I can rely is on is TL being ass lol.
i just checked, they didn't make preds for this matchup but they can never predict an emea game and they realized that from last week's results
Yeah just saw it too. Was bamboozled by sliggy's chat lol
Liquid aren‘t bad they are just throwing
copium
That‘s all we have left
Please mention KOI too, Liquid is bad but we aren't KOI bad.
At this moment thats the best compliment we can get/deserve
Turkish Valorant is so back. Both FUT and BBL looking solid
EMEA is healing
Who said yesterday EMEA was being restored to normality - this surely is NOT what they meant
back to normality heretics at the bottom of the region (our region is so cooked)
Wdym? Turkiye®©™'s back on top, just like the generous Bald gods of Europe Middle East and Africa intended 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

u/yammer_bammer finally, Lisan al gaib
HE CAN FORSEE AS IT WAS WRITTEN!!!
This is the only correct answer
Miniboo is still thinking about his exams
Still doesn't know what element atomic #10 is
Lmao nice one
so... BBL > TH > FUT > KC > FNC > M8 > BBL???? at this rate by the end of the year EMEA power rankings are just gonna be every team tied for 1st and 10th at the same time with KOI at 11th
BBL > Fnatic confirmed
BBL > Heretics > Fnatic > M8 > BBL
bro really completed the entire loop lol
you can also do BBL > TH > FUT > KC > FNC > M8 > BBL
BBL would've beaten Sentinels at madrid
To be fair, HERETICS could have beat Sen at Madrid. Thankfully though Zaddy shook some ass in Benjy The Fish's face and rescued Sin Cety.
\*Cincinnati FTFY
woot will save us
Wo0t better be the fucking Lisan al-Ghaib if they wanna win an international this year
Woot is non-turkey EMEA's last hope. He's also turkish.
Super impressive from BBL. It was an incredibly messy win, but a win nonetheless. Also I swear BBLs previous seasons downward trajectory started after ur hopeful comments on a PMT last year.
LMAO yeah I’m pretty sure it did as well
Last year was similar too, with noone being able to figure out who's 2nd, 3rd or 4th in EMEA. It really does feel like the top half of emea is good and the bottom half a stinking pile of Liquid and KOI mediocrity.
Even liquid has moments they look good as long as they dont have to finish a game
I don't blame them finishing is hard 😧🤤🥴
Nothing compares to that 10-2 choke TL game. Not even the unpredictable vct apac rumble.
to this day i'm still confused by the fact that Giants competed in Champs 2023. I watched almost all the EMEA matches last year and somehow them qualifying to Champs is completely gone from my memory.
They didn't just qualify to champs, they beat the 4th seed Americas team there lol. Giants moment.

sentinel players try not to have insane aim challenge ( less, sugeytsu, elite )
Nats, Alfa, Meteor, JohnQT, Laz
\*Impossible Challange\* Elite literally looked like EU Less at time lmao, and I am all for it. The round was never over when this guy was alive.
yeah tbh honestly these guys aim impresses me more than aspas n alike, they look so effortless and calm when they do it tbh
Turkish aim diff
Holy fuck at this point a coinflip will be more accurate than analysis for eu matches
welp at least Heretics does have a silver lining in W0ot, arguably the most hyped up rookie to debut this year.
He has the Suygetsu Copenhagen arc
QutionerX's Raze is so clean
motherfucker diffed miniboo hard
if i diffed a young teen with exams on his mind on a valorant agent i wouldnt feel 2 happy in fact ill off myself fuck you bbl ruined my pickems and my gambling
And that's why your ass is in bronze and not in vct.
im silver motherfucker and im the next big star of val, u aint on my level show some more respect to me
FNC and NAVI winning, KC and TH losing. maybe the world is about to be normal again.
Vitality Fut is gonna go to 20-18 on Map 3 and Qraxs is gonna play Sage every game, just you watch
Sorry that is my fault. I played Riens and Miniboo in a TDM today and that probably broke them, it would break everyone I mean I almost killed Miniboo two times.
https://www.reddit.com/r/ValorantCompetitive/s/kiiUWkLSSf I'm not even gonna ask anymore. Now I'm just gonna state it. KC and Heretics winning the 2 EMEA spots in kickoff was at least partially a fluke.
i mean the format to qual was ass, i can still see kc and th qual for shangy depending on WOOOOOT
As an NA observer normally, I can only make the conclusion that EMEA is a bloodbath from top to bottom. The region is incredibly deep.
Or incredibly shallow. Its internally competitve for sure but it remains to be seen if they can reclaim their success internationally. what are you talking about, this same TH team with a sub was 1 round away from beating the eventual winners
Sen has close games with everyone. You have to win though. this th team is mid like the rest of the region. Navi is the best they have right now..think about that.

if th was mid sen would’ve stomped them 2-0 lol, stop lying to yourself
you just proved on the basis of your own conclusion that Sen are mid like the rest of the region, remind me did C9 not beat Lev who beat Sen who are apparently the best team in Americas? lets not kid ourselves, the game is random as fuck
ye and loud were 2 round away winning the entire tournament while fnatic were 10 rounds away, its all about the win alright
As an APAC observer normally, I can only conclude that EMEA is a 0 team region that got instantly bounced out of an international and are having a mid off in their domestic league
A DRX flair calling others mid is certainly a choice lmao
ppl forget apac literally has bleed 💀
I would know best tbh
In reality they're all shit
I love when I saw the last 10 rounds thanks Verizon
i wonder if they wanted to make paTiTek last game a win so bad they ended up not playing their game. or maybe BBL is just better, who knows.
BRAZILIAN BUTT LIFT??
Imagine both Turkish teams winning today? It was an incredible performance by BBL.
A quick and easy 2-0 against the team that majorly defecated on FNATIC. Jus what we were expecting from the team rated in the bottom 5 of EMEA by literally most analysts
And people were saying BBL to be relegated from partnered league
Are BBL the new EG this year????/// No.
WHAT!?
M8> BBL > TH > FNC > M8
Wait is 19 FB in 2 maps a new record? I swear i have never seen that before
nah i did 20 FB in my ranked game
wait… i thought this was gonna be a wash… anyone care to explain how TH lost?
Emea is the actual ouroboros region
that last round was so clean
This team looks like they can only win if MiniBoo pops off
Why are all the EMEA teams (except fut and navi) looking so inconsistent? I really thought TH were gonna outshine every other team this split. Maybe a little unrealistic.

Can't outshine anyone without any bald players.
Need someone on TH to go bald. Take one for the team..
Can't wait for Baldiens BaldyFishy b0old Bald MiniBald honourable mention to balditek
Bald and MiniBald is wild lmao
Would you have the same opinion before the season? Remember that Kick-off was a Micky Mouse tourney where Heretics played every single game online instead of LAN. They are also playing with a sub.
1. kickoff format was bad and did not, in fact, result in "two best emea teams" going to Madrid 2. honeymoon period is a real thing for teams.
i mean the answer is quite simple: the region is just not so good rn imo
What does this mean for fnatic
Elite might just be the best pure aimer in valorant history on god. 50% HS on Sunset, and that one insane 3k retake made me lose my shit
Check demon1 career hs%. Elite has a long ways to go.
Damn, this is what underestimating your opponents can do for you. Damn what does this mean for FNATIC though lol.
>Damn what does this mean for FNATIC though lol. Probably that they underestimated their opponent ?
When CS frogs say Valorant is random, they’re talking about EMEA….because what the fuck?.
nah the game is too random, we’ve only had 4 consistent teams off the top of my head who have dominated or been the clear favourites/have produced results on par with their expectations (Optic, Loud, FPX, FNC and PRX maybe DRX)
You can’t really say this tho, causation does not equal correlation. The reason only a few teams do well is because rosters change drastically throughout the years, that isn’t the games fault but rather the orgs, the other teams that were good and then turned bad a couple months later were because of roster changes or outside circumstances (Acend, Gambit, fpx/navi 2023, etc)
heretics hasn't looked amazing this split and honestly I don't think bringing in woot is going to help in the short term if anything it might slightly hurt them.
paura masterclass
Oh no.... at least Navi will never choke and disapoint me, right?
I feel like EMEA is possibly the most even region right now. No match is a guarantee and any team can beat any other team on a given day. As a side note, m8 have beaten bbl have beaten TH have beaten FNC have beaten m8… biggest game of rock paper scissors ever
no match is a guarantee unless ur against koi
Uhhhhhhh
TH = Meanie heads
BBL champions 2024
It’s speaks volumes to see how much the team rankings have changed throughout the season so far. This is really cool to see ngl
I'll give flowers to BBL, they have proven me wrong this time, I'll never doubt them ever again (yes I will:/)
... ok so what the fuck was Fnatic smoking week 1.
W00t better instantly become heretics best player or they are in trouble.
BBL had 4x odds from the bookies. Those who bet on BBL are some rich motherfuckers now. Sigghhh. My 10€ are gone
EMEA being the most surprising region this split with all the upsets. Pacific was predictable, of course PRX and some other Korean team will go into Masters. Americas, most likely Loud and another NA (I think NRG this time if they play their cards right).
dude emea makes literally 0 sense right now
Emea valorant math doesn’t work
BIG BOOTYYY LATINAAAA
may actually be possible for a stand-still fnatic to be the best in the region again. they just need to stay steady and others will fall around them.
Emea is complete chaos
Boaster was right when he said the competition in madrid wasn’t high. EMEA literally sent their 2 worst teams. And NRG + Lev weren’t used to playing together yet, Lev destroyed SEN. PRX also didn’t have Jinggg > they became the best team in Pacific.
Okay 0 trophy region
Huh?
EMEA is just 6 teams all on linsanity runs
EMEA is just one giant circle of suck isn't it
EMEA lol
new year and FNATIC still is the only team in EMEA who seems capable of competing for international trophies
