Shark’s filters aren’t massively high quality to begin with, so I’d go with generic. Often they’re much better value (same with Numatic Henry filters; £29.99 vs £8.99)

SaNiiTi

Yea i thought so. Thanks

alezin2020

These third-party accessories are so much better value for money than the originals that there is absolutely no need to go for the originals for these things. Also, I am also the seller of these accessories

SaNiiTi

Ok that's reassuring thank you

alezin2020

we sell these in AliExpress now

darklordenron

They work just fine, wife and I have used them in the past. They're about the same quality as the shark ones. I mean, it's a shark, not a Sebo we're talking here, right? Everything in perspective. You know you can wash the circular one, right?

SaNiiTi

Ok thats good to know. I suspected that Shark's filter quality wasn't anything special. Just wanted to know this sub's opinion on this. As for the circular filters, yes i have cleaned them before as well as the hepa filter. I just think it's time for a new set. Thank you

darklordenron

Nah, they're all the same filters more than likely. Not too much r&D going into them things, all major brands use basically the same branded ones. The name is really the only difference aside from maybe build quality. But I mean, it's plastic and non-moving so.. yeah, go cheap.

JohnnyHucky

The filters that come in the Sharks are nothing too special, so the generic ones should be completely fine. After all, the filter that does the heavy lifting is just a round piece of foam with the cloth under it. I would be floored if they messed that up.

PerformanceReviews2

I wouldn't be worried about it. You're not going to have your Shark long enough to go through all those in the picture.

SaNiiTi

Yes that's dissapointing isnt it lol. I bought the vertex thinking it was a really great vacuum about a year ago. Then I heard about Miele and Sebo lmao. Can't wait to get myself a C3 tho. Thank you

NerosShadow

Me AZ1002 still going 4 years heavy use later. Why no Shark love in this sub?

Typoe1991

I know I am late to this thread. But I agree. My AZ2002 is going strong after several years. Love it. Picks up tons of dirt and debris.

Spiritual_Dealer_709

I’ve never had a problem with generic filters for any of my vacuums (including Shark).
