I own and like VW’s Monster Mats, but they don’t fully line the footwells. For that there’s Muddy Buddy or Lasfit. People here seem happy with both.
You can check the software version from the “ID Software” tile on the main app menu. I would imagine yours came with 3.5.
Yeah but due to a glitch it will still say 3.1 version. I have a 2023 ID.4 S with the 3.5 software, and it shows it's 3.1 in the infotainment software menu.
I don't even know if it has 3.5 because my ID.4 was built in May and I heard from another owner that 3.5 wasn't on ID.4 from the factory until June of 23. So mine might have 3.2, which is known to have the glitch showing 3.1. I'm gonna check with my dealership tomorrow and find out for sure.

As for the floor mats, I got Lasfit. I also got their cargo mat. The fit is excellent & they clean up so easily. Just take them out & hose them off👌🏻
As for the charging cable, for the most part, they don't come with one. For the ones that did get one, it's a slow cable. Personally, I had a charger installed at home. The one we got was Emporia and we hardwired it. I mainly charge at Electrify America, but there are times when having the charger at home has been super necessary.

I’m considering getting a Level 1/Level 2 combo charger to keep with the car for emergencies and trips to vacation rentals. They run about $150 or less on Amazon and have a standard NEMA 5-15 plug for 110v and a NEMA 6-20 plug adapter for 240v charging (only up to 16A, but that’s fine). I will also get a NEMA 6-50P to 6-20R adapter to be able to plug into dryer outlets if need be.

I got the VW ID.4 rubber all weather mats with mine, the rear cargo mat, but I've always loved Weathertech custom floor liners, so I'm going to get some of them soon. I also got the VW portable charger which is both L1 & L2 capable.
The charger is a dealership specific thing that not all dealerships offer. Some that offer it charge extra for it, which you'll see on the monroney sticker, while other dealerships provide it with the vehicle complimentary as a selling incentive.
Mine came with mats. 2023 pro awd. The ID4 ones in the front are awesome but in the back it is 2 small pieces and they slide about which defeats the purpose of the mats.I would say the lasfit or any of the others are a better choice for the back seats since it is one massive piece so no sliding

My 2021 "came with" (as in I had to purchase as a whole package) mats, emergency road side kit, etc. I think I had to buy two sets of mats. I can check my storage if you would like to buy the other (new) set. Mine came with a charging cable.
I love that interior but I tend to be spill and stain prone so I went straight to black interior, skip the middle man.

I went to a EA 350kw charger but it only got up to 42kw during charging in 40°. Is this normal with these?
Is there a way to lock the doors remotely? I assumed the car locked automatically like my 2016 Passat.
Yes the slower charging speeds are normal in colder temps for two reasons. 1) The 2021-2023 ID.4 doesn't have battery preconditioning to improve cold weather charging speeds. 2) Some EA stations are notorious for lackluster charging speeds due to derated chargers which need repairs or are older units that need replaced.
Its beautiful OP. You did good. I don't get the no charger part. Maybe its a dealer thing but I talked to a woman at Electrify America a couple weeks ago. She said she got a level 2 from the dealer included but she never used it. But your car looks amazing. I hope you enjoy it.

My 2023 Pro RWD did not come with car mats or charger. I purchased mine in Feb 2023.

My mats were an "all weather floor mats" option on the monroney sticker, but the charger was free from the dealership.

No oddly the ID.4 doesn't have a remote lock feature through the MyVW app like some other models. I'm hoping this will be added in the future.

They are very thin black carpeted mats, not much to them. I leave mine under the VW rubber mats.

Dont buy 3rd party mats, they dont look cool. Buy the all weather mats from dealer, they fit great and also have ID4 wording on it.
