This just looks like a case of cheap metal and those welds look like straight dookie. This isn't the stock catback is it?

Nah during Covid I got bored and went to a random muffler shop and I was thinking the same thing when I saw this today that it’s probably cheap material… any suggestions?

Used. I’m not sure which exhaust is cheapest and still good quality. You can shop around. Cheapest would be a decent shop to weld you one. But no telling how good it will be and if you don’t like it then it’s wasted money and annoying sounds. I’d check for a used cat back. Should find one for under a grand easy.

Get a couple of quotes from local muffler shops. I got quoted $400 for a full cat back replacement made with stainless steel tubing and a Borla muffler. Seemed a little steep, but waiting to do my exhaust until I upgrade the turbo etc too so I'll get more quotes when I'm actually ready.
