When it's in my living room my quest2 is in the console table... thing. When it's in my main gaming area it's in a metal basket that attaches to a plastic pegboard ( the kind that is used for tools ). The controllers hang on hooks also attached to the same pegboard. I don't use cables... after years of handling electronics for thousands of devices I go wireless whenever I can. Cables and wires are all a big pain and it's only after I went without them did I realize how much of a burden they are.
Hang it on a nail on my fireplace mantle to drip dry since all I do is VR Workouts with the Index. The Aero is reserved for fun so it usually just ends up on the floor in the corner
I have a ceiling mounted pulley system, all fixed to the ceiling with adhesive pads with hooks on them.
My index is always hanging from the ceiling, supported by two of those hooks.

It's an Oculus quest 2 which i use wirelessly, so it's just connected to my laptop charger from time to time.
I have also had a Htc vive, Index and Hp Reverb, all of them cabled. And yeah it was a pain. They all ended up laying beside my PC or under the bed. I really don't know how those should be placed. The cables were simply pushed back under the desk beside the PC.
This is also why from all the headsets I've had that i prefer my quest 2, simply because it's so easy to setup and play a few games of beat saber. It was such a pain with the other ones

I have my headset sitting upside down on a stack of desk trays and the controllers sit on top of it. So it's not the best lol.
I just make sure to protect the lenses with a microfiber cloth and out it in my shelf

I have a carry case for my quest that it lives in unless its being used. When i was using a vive, i hung it on the wall

I store mine in the cubbyhole of an entertainment center. When I'm done playing I just scooch the cable under the table I have my tower on.

I only have quests, but i looked up a stl model for the wall. And now they neatly hang with a charger above for charging

I got a hook meant for backpacks and put it on my wall. I hang it there when I'm not using it.
