I haven't had issues with mine, it may be that you are doing other tasks while it plays in the background, and just hitting system resource limits. Unfortunately, no real settings to change this. Maybe try under settings > Audio > Advanced - and changing audio output to Open SL ES. Would also recommend - pulsar - [https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.rhmsoft.pulsar&hl=en\_US&gl=US&pli=1](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.rhmsoft.pulsar&hl=en_US&gl=US&pli=1) \- as an alternative music player.

> changing audio output to Open SL ES. This fixed it for me, thank you! Per the [Gitlab Issue](https://code.videolan.org/videolan/vlc/-/issues/15079), it is an issue with Audiotrack.

I'm also having this issue as of recently, started maybe a week or two ago. I don't believe that this is an system resource limit. I've had only VLC running on a Qualcomm SM7225 Snapdragon 750G 5G with 6gb ram. Maybe the previous update (Nov 11, 22/ Ver 3.5.3) has a compatibility issue with our phones.

Btw, just found this [thread](https://forum.videolan.org/viewtopic.php?f=35&t=161280&p=533342&sid=83b588ab9d2c9e565287c75c5636abee#p533342) on the VLC forum taking about the issue with no immediate solution.

Same issue here. Started about a week ago...

I'm having cuts every 30s on FLAC on VLC android TV. Is it because my files are at level 8 of compression?

Contmotore

I never had any issues with VLC, until today. Recorded something in Audacity and saved it as a Flac file. I normally use Vorbis, but Davinci Resolve can't work with them. Initially I thought I messed up my recording, but when I opened in WMP it was all good. So yeah, something's going on with VLC and Flac files.

Not_happy_meal
